I know right? 41% . That is very bad. I am also surprised by the acolyte usage. I havent seen anyone using it in a very long time.lazysundae wrote...
Thanks for posting this!
Crazy that 41% of missions end in failure. Never would have guessed that. I'm also surprised that the Destroyer is the most popular character, I don't feel like I see a ton of those, and he's personally one of my least favorite kits.

All of you other losers are picking that tank Destroyer, putting a high end weapon on him and squeezing the trigger or you're all hiding using those cowardly infiltrators....

It was everywhere in gold lobbies back then. Can't say I didn't abuse it. It was the easy button of the time.

Krysae was nerfed before Earth, no?C0MB0 wrote...
When the Krysae was super powerful the Destroyer was a favorite class to use it on. Larger clip and gun damage or faster rate of fire.

Besides Krysae abuse was rampant with infiltrators.

MMMmm, statistics! 41% failure, that's mind boggling!

The Destroyer is the most popular kit?
Although I think it's quite old, there are reasons that those stats show up.
-Harrier is obvious, it's been the top traditional rifle since release
-Destroyer and Acolyte stats are due to the rocket glitch. As much as people will say "I never saw them", it's because a good portion of them played in private parties to avoid being detected or reported.
-White stats are carryover from the farming days. Dilute the maps percentages by adding more maps, and there will still be abundant of games that were played on White from the beginning. If they did a stat track since it was changed, it might skewer towards Rio or Glacier.
-41% failure rate alludes to challenge players entering a quick bronze/silver solo to finish off powers, waves, guns etc. I did this all the time, have 97% completion on a Locust, did not want to play a full game with it. Bronze, wave 1, get the challenge points and die. This is quite common for challenge points (also if disconnects count, this could also change the numbers like PS3 freezes with Collectors... if you didn't get to extraction, technically that's a fail, right?)
-Collector stats probably include PS3 stats which meant freezes. We constantly freeze, and you would have to assume that it counts as a "failure". No question the game started, we all lose equipment, but there is no record of a completion. Hence, the failure rate on PS3 due to Bioware not fixing them lowers that number.
-So much for Infiltrators being overpowered, too good for Gold and the only way bad kids can survive, huh! Reality is that Infiltrators do not have many powers that lead towards challenges. Engineers, Vanguards and Adepts have the most powers, and more importantly, SPECIFIC class powers that can only be found on certain classes (ie Nova, Combat Drone before the Volus, Charge, Warp, etc).

Lots of money. Crap.
And that failure rate is insanely high.
I can only assume that there's load of people failing on purpose to shave off 5-7 minutes and just take credits.

I don't even understand HOW 41% of missions end in failure?! Especially considering more people play bronze/silver than gold/platinum.
It's rare to see people using equipment in silver. I mostly play silver and the majority of the time the only people who don't go down on a regular basis are the ones using equipment. If they don't have someone using equipment I can easily see lots of games getting wiped because odds are if they're not equipping then they're not gelling either.
Very true. Almost nobody uses medigel in Silver, so I'm not surprised at the failure rate.
Higher rate of failure vs Collectors is about right with what I've sen too.
I see a lot a Destroyers in Silver, probably enough to say that it's the most played. Though since Reckoning it's changed to Juggernaut and I'll be interested to see if it switches back.
Harrier is easily the most common weapon I see, but I can't remember seeing a single Acolyte since it was changed back to being a charge-up weapon.

These are good points. I probably have a 50% "failure" rate due to testing stuff.JLoco11 wrote...

An interesting interpretation. About Collectors and PS3: I think even if we would change win ratio to the number of matches played on PS3 against Collectors from XBox and PC we still had Collectors as the "hardest" faction.
Data is collected from Retaliation to Reckoning, but not all characters were unlocked at the start. As I suggested here (http://social.biowar...index/15965186/) I hoped for shorter period. And my bets weren't good :S .
