Yeah, it was sleazy as hell, but strangely within the range of already potential character traits for shep. Am I the only one who remembers that shep has had the opportunity to sleep around with sleazy means before?

 I think its so crappy the way Bioware does Femshep. :| Male shep gets so many options, women (and men) are falling over themselves to hook up with him, but Femshep is given like 3 options that will actually even end up anywhere. The other options you have end in dead ends or dead boyfriends. 

Jacob cheats on you, James screws you once and then doesn't want you, Thane dies... I'm surprised they didn't give Garrus amnesia in some "caclibrating" accident. Even the ones that both male and female shep can romance are given the boot, (Morinth: Gone, Kelly: Gone, Samara: Doesn't want you) it's crazy. Maleshep has 7 or 8 options that all end up well compared to Femshep's 4. 

WHY CAN'T THEY JUST LET FEMSHEP BE GREAT.

I can understand Vega's reasoning. Shepard is his Commander and might be too much women for him to handle because of her big status. I watched the scene where they both wake up and Vega does seem a little disturbed by what happened. I mainly think because he slept with his Commander it feels a bit wrong.. I'd be itimidated by Shepard as well.

That's a shame I would have made a shepard for vega if he was turned into a real LI. Everything was there already all they had to do have vega act like he wanted to start something with her *le sigh*.

I haven't read through the entire thread yet but was hoping I wasn't the only one who was disgusted by their 'portrayal' of a romance with Vega. I literally cringed at the end and went back and played it all over to erase the file. They really ruined what could have been a sweet and brief encounter and turned it into a seedy and repugnant fling.

But I guess it isn't surprising given the Jacob romance, which was just as obnoxious. Doesn't give me much hope for the future of female characters in BioWare games.

Very true. They seems to like giving femshep and female players in general the wrong end of the stick.

This is shameful, what would be realistic is Shepard losing respect of the crew. Kaiden/Ashley pulling her aside to tell her what she did was messed up.

LOL Awkward Kaiden listening to Shepard trying to hit on Vega.

Vega tells her the only way it'll happen is if he's inebriated enough.

Creepy Shepard walks over to Vega and asks if he's drunk yet, Vega awkwardly says no. Seriously? Get a life, lol.

Thanks for that. That wasn't even an option for me, I guess being committed to Liara negates that right?  Does FemShep need to be completely single for this to happen?

That clip actually emphasized what I always believed about FemShep; she needs to be direct because her status intimidates men. In all other romances she has been the aggressor. I don't see her acting out of character here. 

I don't like it, but not because of any moral reasons. I know they made it one night stand because they didn't want to add more content acknowledging the new relationship.  It reeks of cost cutting.

Roll with it. If you don't like the Vega "romance", don't pursue it. Its not canon in your game then.

Vega was flirty with Shepard and then Shepard pressed the issue...
Vega had reservations and both kept getting more hammered...
That's what happened...

Sometimes people get drunk and do something they regret...

I think you should even be happy that Bioware makes a female character that has significantly different relationships than male Shep.

Not only that but her romances are more real.

And can you guys get over Jacob already? Maybe i missed the part where they said they dating exclusively....or maybe i missed the part where they kept in constant contact while Shep was locked up....but if i didn't then it's not cheating. I honestly believe that people who call Jacob a cheater are neckbeards who have never had a GF.

I have an honest question for you....if he KEEPS telling you NO, why do you keep trying?  At this point wouldn't a woman who has been turned down HAVE to up the ante to get that same guy to say yes?  The game plays out like real life would under those exact same circumstances.
