Anyone know the file name of the clone armor in the Citadel DLC? I would like to add it to my Shepard's wardrobe..maybe do some texmod-ing on it too.

I wouldn't mind getting hold of this myself. It's a great looking set of armour.

The CAT6 Heavy Armor. It looks good but a little ugly. Needs a high-res mod.

yeah I agree...going to try and find it

Ok, I found it in the package
HMM_ARM_FBDl_MDL.psk
I'm pretty sure I just can't make a new entry in the coalsced file under fullbodyappearance?

It will crash unless the pcc file is already loaded...Raanz wrote...

Isn't it basically the Defender armor?

It does have a few reused meshes from the Defender armor but it is different overall. The abdomen, the pauldrons, the legs are all different. Even the chest piece that looks like it was based on the defender is slightly different.
Well I tried playing around with the strings in the coalesced file to get the package to load, but I failed. One time it tried to load but wouldn't, the other time it locked up the game and crashed.
The rigged armor is in the BIOD_Cit003 package and the name of the file is HMM_ARM_FBDI_MDL.psk (HMF for the female version). I tried taking a look at how the other armors are loaded but haven't had any luck so far.

I'm going to take a look at making a mod package of it with ME3 Explorer sometime soon, no promises on how adding entirely new armor IDs/codes will go, though.

You should totally get this too btw

Do the armor ID codes actually include the mesh used as well? If so, then that is probably what is causing the thing not to load. In my attempts I just copied the Defenders ID code and set the plot flag to -1
Thanks Doom, I do have it...cool tool.

No, IDs are basically how the game identifies it, it's a complicated system and I'm not too sure how to explain it. (nor do I even know a lot about it to begin with) but those .pcc files, those are a compiled archive which contains basically all its visual data, such as meshes, textures, all that kind of crap.

Yeah, the pcc files have the material files, the textures, the static and skeletal meshes. I was pretty sure the ID codes just have relevant data for identification within the game (attributes basically).
I am not 100% certain, but I think the first part of the string in the coal tells the game where it is and what it's called (the mesh and textures and other stuff), this is part I am having trouble figuring out. I know a little about Unreal but not enough to figure out how it calls the mesh. I am sure I am screwing up the syntax.
Thanks

Is there no way to get the armor the clone is wearing other than modding the files of the game? I've never done that and am totally afraid I will destroy my game if I try.

not that I know of.

Thanks for replying, Raanz.
Guess I'll just have to do without unless I get brave later on.

Uhm, if you manage to do it, could you upload how to get it in the armor wardrobe? Thanks

Yessir...if I manage it, I will post how to here.

You should be able to force package streaming by adding the package name to bioengine.ini\\engine.packagestoalwayscook\\seekfreepackage. The problem from there is finding the package and mesh names.

A friend I know have inserted this CAT6 armor along with Smarteck's high res textures instead of  the Reckoner Knight armor, so that the CAT6 armor is now available for female Shepards. If you don't have the Reckoner Knight unlocked by default, you can use my coalesced mod (also included in the folder)

Simply download this BIOG_HMF_HGR_SHP_R and replace it with the original in the CookedPCConsole folder in the Mass Effect 3 folder and run the MOD files with ME3explorer (also in the download link).
Download this folder and follow the install instructions: https://drive.google...amp;usp=sharing
As an extra treat, I've also added the Asari Commando armor instead of the Dragon Age armor. Note that the resolution isn't up to par, but it's still better than a medieval armor.
