Maybe they're just graduating to Silver from Bronze... I used equipment when I started. Now I don't, because I'm a better player and I don't need to.

Opened a bronze lobby for a quick solo but forgot to switch it to private, so it got filled with 3 randoms. Couldn't kick so I decided to go on. One of them equipped lvl III inc ammo and amps and the other lvl IV AP rounds. I had to follow suit. So yeah, those reapers had no chance.

I use consumables and missile cerberus troopers on bronze just because it annoys people. And go to the opposite end of the map to die during hack challenges. Har Har. Just kidding. ^^

You should've stealthily change the difficulty to gold/platinum.

I sometimes do that - increase the difficulty between matches and usually people do just fine on higher difficulties

I save my missiles for swarmers, deadly little buggers.

It's better than sitting on street corners doing drugs, but not as good as studying/going to work, I guess... Meh, everyone needs a little 'me' time.

I have equipped lvl 1 equipment on silver today, I am really quite ill so I need the extra oomph to compensate for my ridiculously slow reaction time. No chance for me to get to gold today, still, I have other things I can do

Now that I think of it, I should have. But I just find it annoying when I look for a silver or gold and get ninja'd by some troll host so I don't do it to others :innocent:

I use level1's on Silver, sometimes the odd level2. I use my 3's and 4's on gold and plat.

I played. I won. I earned. I use em.

Sometimes I throw on a weapon amp just because I feel like it. Then I figure, well hell I might as well throw in ammo and armor equipment as well.
It's not like I use the greatest stuff Level III at most depending on what it is. Stuff like Targeting VIs, cryo ammo, strength enhancers etc. tend to just sit around and rot in my inventory anyway, so why not use them and make the match a little easier?

You got the Golden rule all wrong. It goes: " One should not treat others as one would like others to treat oneself." ^^

But seriously, I too try not to ninja, that's why I only start increasing difficulty after one match. People should pay attention to the mission settings between matches, me thinks.
