I liked Synthesis, for the benefuts it brings, for what it does to the Reapers, etc. But this DLC reninds me how much I love the day to day ME universe and my friends. I want to save *this* universe that I;ve come to love. The futuristic cities of the epilogue are beautiful, but they aren't home.  Even my friends and koved ones look different. I want them as they were, not ascended. I'm willing to trade my life for the verse, but so it can cintubue in the form I knew,

Chose Control before EC, chose Control after EC and still choose Control now after the Citadel DLC.

I think synthesis was too enchanting to begin with. The reapers sharing knowledge peacefully with the galaxy is beyond cheesy.

What you don't like the Everybody is connected, galactic conformity, and everyone has this ugly ass Lime green filter on the body which is so going to be retcon into oblivion cause no designer is gonna put up with the hours of work to design a unique model knowing full well that everything is gonna get dunk in gawdy green.

I was never "enchanted" with Synthesis in the first place.

Destroy Pre-EC.

Destroy Post-EC.

Profoundly, happily, enthusiastically Destroy post-Citadel.

Pretty much this.

The Citadel DLC perhaps makes it more painful to lose EDI, but the life of one squadmate (or even all of them) is inconsequential when weighed against the fate of an entire galaxy. So long as the Reapers continue to exist, they'll loom as a threat over the continued existence of galactic civilization.

Can the Catalyst be trusted to remain at the helm even after Synthesis? Can Cayalyst 2.0 (a.k.a. Control Shep) be trusted not to one day reach the same conclusions as the Catalyst replaced? Those aren't isn't risks my Shepard would be willing to take. He was also unwilling to fundementally alter the very nature of life and the galactic civilizations he had fought to save, for all time.

Never liked Synthesis - found the underlying ideology borderline offensive.

Always picked Destroy and probably always will.

I have serious ethical qualms with Synthesis and I find Control to be too risky.

From a more "selfish" point of view, I think Shepard's earned the right to live on, enjoy the fruits of his labor, and continue his life with those he cares about.

Ditto. Although I've come to respect Control 2,000 times more than I did before.

Another OP that basically reads "It's all about me, baby! My Shepard, my Universe. Suffering people? Potential war? Who gives a crap! It's my Universe! MINE. MINE. MINE." and... wow. Well, let's just say that I have more respect for the people within my version of the ME Universe. I have more admiration and love for them. I want things to go right, I don't want to see them suffer with things any more (like Joker's incurable illness). So I choose Synthesis.

I'm not disenchanted at all. I know I've given Joker & EDI, the geth, and company a damn good shot at life. That's the best I could have done for them. Screw the clone's breath scene. My Shepard died for the good of them all. She always was selfless.

This guy has to be trolling.

Joker still limps out of the Normandy. Therefore, illness not cured.

Carebear reapers would be a good source to finding a cure, though.

Citadel DLC is post High EMS Destroy for me. I don't care. EDI survived. Yay!!! Didn't see geth in the slides. Don't care. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do. My Shepard was ruthless, efficient and got the job done. Sometimes the end does justify the means if there is something to justify the end.

So she survived. Wow, the Normandy was back. One thing on the docket ... apartment. Party!!! It was good to see the old gang. This was a good send off for Shepard. It is the end of her story arc. The epilogue.

What comes next? Pfft. That's up to bioware. Joker? go get yourself a boneweave.

Sorry, I ... just... can't... pick ... synthesis... because... it's.... st......

High EMS DESTROY  ----->>>> Citadel DLC  Post ENDING PARTY.

I still pick Synthesis. I Just don't like the idea of control very much, and I can't just kill the geth.

Pretty much sums up why I hate all the endings  .Even Destroy inflicts incredible destruction on the galaxy.  And thus why I love MEHEM so much.
