Thank you Bioware, thank you for the love, the friendship, the hate, the frustration and the amusement i've been through with ME. A part of me died with Shepard, but also there is now a part of Shepard in me. Thank you very much :')
Thank you Bioware, for everything.

I too, like the others here, wanted to express my thanks. EA has offered a bumpy ride when it comes to happiness with their games. I've totally decided to leave Simcity sitting in a corner for a month while it gets itself sorted out, and for a while my anger towards them also extended to Bioware... but after playing Citadel i remembered why I loved you guys so much. Mass Effect 2 was a blast, and saying goodbye to Mordin and Legion in ME3 were about the most emotional things I've ever experienced from a game. Citadel was the perfect goodbye we've all been waiting for. So thank you for all the hard work. I know we haven't been the easiest fans to deal with. You didn't need to do nearly half as much 'apologizing' as you guys have done with the extended cut and the free soundtracks, but they were greatly appreciated.
Now here's to hoping the vibe from Citadel can be revived in whatever game you make next. That mix of comedy and action guarantees I'll be along for the next ride.

Thank you, Bioware, for ME1, 2, and 3, for LotSB' for the wonderful characters, unforgettable scenes and words; for this "last" ME3 DLC... and especially for the EC, for the reconciliation to our fate, and for the consolation and gratitude of remembrance.
And finally, to Ashley, from our favorite poem:
"Names in my ears
Of all the lost adventurers my peers,—
How such a one was strong, and such was bold,
And such was fortunate, yet each of old
Lost, lost! one moment knell’d the woe of years
There they stood, ranged along the hill-sides, met
To view the last of me, a living frame
For one more picture! in a sheet of flame
I saw them and I knew them all. And yet
Dauntless the slug-horn to my lips I set,
And blew."
Commander Shepard to the Light Tower came.

I think I can happily thank Bioware for making Citadel and for leaving me with that last hurrah I been begging them for. That last line Tali said to Shepard, and that pinpoint reply, that's what I'm going to remember. I'm gonna remember Javik kicking Blasto's ass, Grunt being... Grunt, Jack murdering, Jacob losing, Cortez flying, Miranda griping, Mordin and Tali singing, and them all being their very very best. I can thank Bioware for giving me that, because those lines of code and 3D models and recorded voices were so ****ing alive it would've sin otherwise. Thanks, guys.

I'd like to chip in as well. Thank you BioWare, from the bottom of my heart. I was having sort of a personal crisis that summer after Mass Effect 1 was released for PC and was going to hang up gaming for good. And then I just wanted to try how my PC handles various games and among them was ME1. From the very first moment I launched the game, I was completely hooked. I won't go into details about why I love the Mass Effect games so much because most of it was already said and written and it would take several pages to do it justice. Suffice it to say that every game in the trilogy is by far my favorite game and possibly my favorite entertainment experience (taking into account games, movies, TV series and books) of all. I rarely cry, but when I finished the Citadel DLC right on the first anniversary of ME3, I was so overwhelmed I couldn't help myself. And so it remains that the only times I've cried during a game is when I finished ME3 and Citadel. The latter struck me even harder because it was the definitive end to Shepard's (and the gang's) story and because the whole DLC was so light-hearted and optimistic that when it ended it made me miss it even more. My opinion is that with Mass Effect you created a universe that easily rivals the behemoths of the sci-fi industry, with the Star Wars and Star Treks and so on.
So thank you BioWare for this wonderful and extremely emotional ride and I cannot wait what you have in store for us next - in the Mass Effect or Dragon Age universe, or maybe something completely new.

I gotta admit, no other game has inspired quite so many varied and strong feelings, one way or another the first ME trilogy will always be remembered

Here here! Thanks BW! I first started playing ME in Feb last year when I decided to try it and see what all the fuss was about (due to the massive hype building around ME3 then). It has since been the year of Mass Effect for me. This trilogy has affected me in a way I thought was no longer possible as a cynical/jaded adult. It makes me feel the same way the Star Wars trilogy made me feel as a little kid back in the early '80s and for that BioWare I can't thank you enough. Well, time to kick off my 4th play through of Citadel methinks!

Agree with all of the above, really; ME has been my favorite series since first stepping onto Eden Prime for the very first time with Kaidan and Jenkins. After playing Citadel through, with that last line really ending the Shepard trilogy, it felt surreal, and it really drove in the bittersweet goodbye in; a five year trip through some of the best moments in the medium.
So like the others here have said, and what many more think; thanks BioWare, for the best ride of all time; can't wait for what comes next

I am a diehard Mass Effect fan. For some reason, I couldn't play Mass Effect 3 until now, although I had my Digital Deluxe copy pre-ordered months before the release.
Mass Effect 3 was the greatest adventure I have ever had with a video game.
Seeing all your acts and decisions come together and form a story... It was incredible.
The ending especially was terrific, with a great explanation for the Reapers' origins and a very difficult choice to make.
I could go on for hours praising the combat, environment design and of course the story.
Thank you Bioware, for creating this amazing trilogy.

I was in Pax 2013 on sunday and i had the pleasure to meet, talk to, and thank in person the people who worked so hard to make my favorite game ever. I even met Kaiden's voice actor, who was really cool to talk to!

Thank you for the fantastic trilogy! Have to say the Citadel DLC really puts closure on it all that the ending didn't really do.
It's bittersweet that it all has to end (at least Shepard's story anyways), but it's been a good ride. The best!
I just hope the next story in the ME universe can be just as good and captivating, with great characters, writing, everything.

Reviving. Honestly I hope they come out with a "group photo" lithograph. It can be similar to ME2's "the team" litho. But I can't buy that litho since Liara isn't there..

It's quite satisfying to see some positivity on this forum for once.
And also, despite it's flaws and setbacks, ME is one of my favorite series.
Many thanks Bioware.

On topic thought, Mass Effect 1,2, and 3 are the greatest games to come out for me.

I loved Mass Effect because I could be who I was, and I loved all the characters. I got to feel connected - knowing that they were fictional characters - and it was the first game that actually made me care about my choices, who they were affecting, and reinforced my belief in camaraderie and undying will. This is the first game where I actually became emotional, and, to be honest, I actually felt like I really loved the characters - specifically my love interests, Kaidan and Liara. Mass Effect is an escape to another reality where the world is in your control, and a reality where you do not have to be afraid of expressing yourself, no matter what your decisions are; the characters will still love you, despite being programs, and the voice actors know how much they mean to us. The characters, for me, did not feel fictional - they actually felt like real people with real issues, and that was what really drove me to love this franchise with all my heart. Thank you, BioWare. Everything I've said so far on this thread has been out of love
