Well, I add my sincere thanks. For Mass Effect and all the other works Bioware has done and keeps doing. In my opinion you are one of the brightest lights in the world of gaming (and entertainment in general). Hopefully you'll never forget your spirit.

Bioware you've made something which is absolutely remarkable. You've proven that it doesn't all come down to the latest graphics or gameplay. Its the story and atmosphere around it which led people to want to believe in the Mass Effect universe. It made them want to be in Shepard shoes, re-)live every moment with the crew and fly the Normandy SR-2 into infinity and beyond. This is the same reason people come back here. They, and I'd say I, don't want the story to be over and are looking for a certain closure. Unfortunately, this is it.

I loved Mass Effect because I could be who I was, and I loved all the characters. I got to feel connected - knowing that they were fictional characters - and it was the first game that actually made me care about my choices, who they were affecting, and reinforced my belief in camaraderie and undying will. This is the first game where I actually became emotional, and, to be honest, I actually felt like I really loved the characters - specifically my love interests, Kaidan and Liara. Mass Effect is an escape to another reality where the world is in your control, and a reality where you do not have to be afraid of expressing yourself, no matter what your decisions are; the characters will still love you, despite being programs, and the voice actors know how much they mean to us. The characters, for me, did not feel fictional - they actually felt like real people with real issues, and that was what really drove me to love this franchise with all my heart. Thank you, BioWare. Everything I've said so far on this thread has been out of love :)

Amen brother!

I want to thank BioWare for creating a wonderful universe. I want to question Casey and Mac's judgement when they wrote the endings. I want to provide critique to the team and tell them to polish their animations and rely less on recycled resources. Finally, I want to ask EA to stop rushing out Mass Effect games. Happy customers are less likely to hold on to their money the next time you want to sell them something.

I'm part of those fans that hated the ending of Mass Effect 3, however I do want to say thank you to BW for making this amazing trilogy. I recently reinstalled Mass Effect 1 and 2 and I'm planning a marathon to relive this wonderful story and meet all those great characters again.

Thank you BW and please don't mess up on your next games.

Honestly, I think people are so mad about the endings, not because they were "bad", but because it doesn't leave off a good memory of the end of shepard and his gang. People (like myself) wanted to see Shep reunited with his (or her) squad and friends. It's the memories that hurt people the most. For me, the citadel dlc made me forget all issues i had with the ending and in fact, made me love the game even more (if that's possible).

In the end, it was a great ride, and Mass Effect 1,2, and 3 will always be my favorite games ever.

(SPOILER BELOW sort of)

I actually have a frame of the group photo from the DLC on my wall that i printed from rite aid.

It sure has.

Thanks Bioware for breaking my heart and making me laugh so many times. I'll miss the Normandy and the gang.

I didn't have a single problem with the stories, gameplay, graphics, characters etc etc.

My problem with BioWare is how they can't make their own games work properly. Hideous cut scene bugs. Not even after to 6-7 later and still no one at BioWare can build for the PS3 comfortably. Its truly an immersion killer when try to watch cut scenes etc.

Other than that though the trilogy was great.

The Mass Effect 3 launch was, IMHO, a ****ing disaster.

I had to say that, sorry.

But thanks BioWare for the good times.

Freakin' masterpiece! So ahead of it's time, someone must have found a certain time capsule.

We're so gonna find Prothean Archives on Mars in 173 years...maybe sooner!

Heh, it's been a while since I finished the games but I realised that I hadn't given them the credit the deserved like this, and I only have a few things to say but;

Damn, it's been a hell of a ride following Shepards journey, starting out as another Alliance marine (commander, whatever) and to keep going until the end. This has truly been a wonderful journey that I am glad to have experienced along with others in the community. I truly loved every part of this series, the story was brilliantly handled.

Thanks again bioward and I hope to come on another adventure of epic proportions soon.

For a AAA rated game it served itself out well. But as a whole, when compared to it's predecessors in terms of SP gameplay it suffers. The only good things I can say about the gameplay is that it served the needs of the story.... (even if the core gameplay pulled it's punches, and only let fly in the DLC's). And it provided an excellent platform to base an MP on.

So perhaps next time, we could see a game that takes a build that focuses more on SP mode first and MP mode second. Or at the very least, incorporate the traditional element's of SP gameplay into the RPG mode while leaving the stripped back shooter we got in ME3 available in the Action mode.

Everybody wins.

You do make some interesting points.. I really didn't focus much on the multiplayer so i can't really say for myself.
There is always things to improve on in everything in life, no matter what it is, so hopefully everything will work out for everyone when the new ME game gets released.

Went to my local walgreens and printed out  a pretty big picture of the Citadels "group photo".
It proudly sits on my wall next to my bed!
