Probably the best mass effect sound track since Wall's ME2 stuff.

I liked the OST for ME3 a lot, but it just didn't feel like Mass Effect, for the most part. It just sounded like a great OST for a movie, or some new video game IP. The OST for this DLC sounds like Mass Effect again, and it's great. I'm sure as Hell gonna miss this.

We sure did. I doubt any developer will make a trilogy like this for years to come.

Because I have a feeling that line is going to be grossly overused in the coming weeks.

TW3 will be out in a few years which is the end if CDPs trilogy and so far it's already better then the ME trilgoy in terms of writing and overeaching plot, plus the middle chapter(TW2) was not a waste of time.

Still, fantastic music in the dlc.

Oh nice, somebody is uploading those (now I don't have to xD), and there's bunch of great tunes in this DLC.

If someone mined the tracks, I noticed that filename 611 has something like Saren's theme smuggled in it at the end.

And I agree with goose2989's sentiment, of all three games, ME3 OST felt disconnected from the game.

Funny, ME2's ost felt disconnected to me. ME3 has themes like Mars that have that sci fi feeling and closer to MEs ost. Except for a few tracks and dlc, it was just boring action crap in ME2 imo.

@Mr.House: I think I know where are you coming from, I'm on of these people who think ME should end on part one. I didn't liked the turn the game took, but I am also used to the thing that character in a game has their "theme". After many playthroughs I just got used to it.

In ME3 we suddenly get celebrity of a kind to make few tracks, while Hulick and Wall and the rest of the band were making a great job. I won't pretend that I know why, but I think Jack's absence broke some kind of continuity as well.

Soundtrack feels odd. I like Mansel's tracks. I like Cris' and Sascha's tracks. I like Sam's tracks. But all of them in some kind of separate style buckets, while in ME1 and 2, soundtracks were "whole" .
I'm sorry, I don't know how to properly describe it in English. (edit for spelling -_-)

I am curious if someone can get the variant of 'Returning to the Normandy' that plays with the Thane romance.

Yeah, I'm itching for cleaner MP3s of several tracks from Citadel. Here's hoping that'll come soon in one form or another.

"End of an Era" is the perfect ending song, alongside Vigil in acoustic piano.

Love it.

I saw another thread from a buddy that had that as a download; I made this thread with Youtube links since I find it more convenient than downloads. I can't find it right now, but it should pop up again soon enough.

Mars was one of the best tracks of the entire series, but much of the ME3 soundtrack (especially all the piano tunes) were more standalone than complimentary. I thought ME2 had great soundtracks to compliment the characters and their unique missions.
