1. Stack headshot modifiers.
2. Aim at head.
3. ???
4. Profit.
GSF
1. Hit nothing.
2. Move slowly.
3. ???
4. ...

Sidenote: Anyone have an updated weapon stat spreadsheet for reckoning weapons?

Yeah, unless BioWare decides to change this announced 10% buff to 30% buff, I'm not taking it from the wall.
This is what Silver is for.

The spitfire is slightly less than 2xtimes as powerful as the GPR so a spitfire is weaker than a headshotting GPR.
So yes in most cases the GPR is more powerful.

Seriously, though, it's like exaggeration is innate trait of BSN.

No exaggeration in my post ...the GPS really does outperform the spitfire in most cases....maths doesnt exaggerate.

Some times yes exaggeration is rampant here, but in the case of the Spitfire's effectiveness it's pretty much spot on accuracte. It's a terrible weapon. It has more cons than pros, fails to really stand out compared to the likes of the Typhoon and Particle Rifle, and on top of that is incredibly hard to get a hold of.Shezo wrote...

It is a well known style for people making see your point. And to throw in my 2 cents:
Frozen Peas aren´t quite describing the firepowr of the spitfire. It is more like wet noodles.

I tested both on Geth and I had much better results with the GPR than the GSF. Am I just imagining this?
I only used the Geth Spitfire once. My subjective impression was that it causes slightly more damage than a GPR. But it is clearly miles away from justifying the excessive weight of this weapon.
In all later games if you used either the N7 Typhon or the PPR on the Geth Juggernaut.

Look at Cyonan's wepon damage chart the Spitfire clearly outperforms the GPR mathamaticlly.
Now if you are talking about whether it's worth it, that's different. Weight, ramp up time, recoil and slowing of movement speed, those aspects. Yeah the Spitfire has some serious drawbacks, which make it significanty outclassed by weapons like the PPR on anything but the Juggernaut.
My opinion on the GSF, if you're going to use it on anything other than a Juggernaut, just don't.
