If I can sacrifice Mordin for the greater good of all Krogan...

Then I can EASILY sacrifice EDI for the greater good of the entire Galaxy.

I chose Destroy because I did not want to become those I had defeated (Saren, TIM) but if I was on the computer I would have downloaded MEHEM and done that.

Oh **** off. Mordin CHOSE to sacrifice himself for the greater good of the galaxy. EDI doesn't get any such choice. There's a world of difference between those two circumstances.

Honestly I get the impression some of you would gladly shove your best friend under a truck if it meant saving your own worthless neck.

I'm more or less a pure Paragon and don't feel screwed at all.

I chose destroy because the Reapers deserved to be blown to hell. It sucks that the newly self-aware geth and EDI perish as a result of my decision, but I'll be damned if I let the race of machines that killed 500,000,000,000 lives simply because they could.

Either you die or your friend does. Someone is going to. Does it matter who it is?

Sacrifices must be made it the name of the many, If there is no sacrifice to do anything, nothing would be done.

It´s not much about sacrifice as much about the ability of Crucible to make a precise hit if it wants...

Synthesis hits - synthetics, organics and Reapers

Control hits - just a Reapers

Destroy hits - Reapers and synthetics

/what a magic/

By my opinion, choices came from Citadel ergo from Catalyst and synthetics are just a bargaining chip which works to support the presservation of Reapers.

No.

What kind of anti-intellectual crap is this?

Not really anti intellectual, but it happens in everyday life, I have my opinions, you have yours. So please don't put down my opinion.

This actually doesn't happen in everyday life. The overwhelming majority of people don't decide for "the many" in everyday life.

If it came down to it you would do it to. Why should your friend live when you can? Right

Doesn't matter. I don't give a flying crap about the robots. Destroy equals dead reapers.

I meant the big choices, if something I say enrages you, just ignore it, don't start conflicts.

Still no. The "big choices" in life don't even come remotely close to the big choices in Mass Effect. There's no room for comparison.

Me stating that you're wrong doesn't mean that I'm "enraged" (lol), it means I'm stating that you're wrong.

Regardless who you are, I doubt you're making decisions that hold the fate of entire species in the balance.

Did EDI die? She is an AI, her body would be destroyed but not the AI that is housed on the Normandy. Likewise, if a single Geth was currently plugged into their server, only their physical self would be destroyed. And if those bodies were made before, they can be made again.

And I said that the choices in real life are on a far lesser scope than the choices in Mass Effect.

The very least you could do is acknowledge my point.
