Heh, same here, but not with the hair. I was so careful not to chose the wrong answers and still be polite. Apparently, I failed, because she was in love with my PC again. I remember thinking: "But..., but what did I say? What? Where? How?"

@ Sialater

What a great idea. I'm glad I thought of it ;)

I never have any problem breaking up with Leliana when I'm playing a male char- I usually do so when Zevran shows up, because I like him quite a bit and don't mind a little slash. What I can't bring myself to do is break up with the guys! I hate it, but something pulls on my heartstrings to hear the lines Alistair says if you tell him you need to end it. It just all out sucks for me. Being a heterosexual female in real life, I find that I respond to Steve Valentine's voice acting and turn to mush. And even when I tell myself that I am only going to romance Zev on a runthrough, because of Alistair's Trademeet torment, I can't resist flirting with him. I guess that goes to show how well written and well-voiced he is. Yesterday when I decided to try and be strong and 'break up' with Alistair when Zevran showed up, for my own good since my char is an elf, I went to tell Alistair and he started in with offering me a rose.  No fair!

He's wily, that one. Nefarious, even.

He KNEW what you were going to do and headed you off at the pass. Did you still break it off with him?

I'm so glad not to be the only Steve Valentine fan! I adore him! And I laugh at odd moments thinking of him during the dialogue. I can only imagine his facial expressions. Loved him since "Crossing Jordan."

As for talking about shoes beinf flirting, I totally second the "I'd be in trouble in real life." I mean, come on! SHOES! Le sigh. *stares down at her purple patent leather shoes and wriggles her toes happily*

Hehe...I pick every "I love shoes" response in that conversation because...I do, lol. It was rather tough with my male noble not to follow those lines. I opted for the "you've lost me" comment instead. :D

I know what you mean. I've chosen Zev as my main man but that dang Alistair is so hard to say no to. I end up romancing them both then having to break up with Alistair later. What's wrong with me? ;)

I also ran into the accidental affair with Leli yesterday, She was pretty confrontational as she started out by saying "You love Alistair don't you?" I was like whoa, where is this coming from??? Oh well, she took it better than I expected and no points lost and ended up friends. I just felt blindsided, lol.

I know I'm screwed with Lei in this playthrough. I wanted to get the Majorline quest so I've been chatting her up. However, I know that she thinks we are in love. I'm going to have to break her heart. I do feel bad about it though.

But you do force her to break your heart, how do you think it feels for her knowing that she has to step aside for another?

You people sicken me.

But she has a Fereldan mom at least, so she is half-Fereldan.

But scratch the surface of that Fereldan sticker and you find Made in Orlais underneath it *nods*

Hee--  I know what you mean about the Steve Valentine voice.  I had thought my mage character would have stayed clear of Al this run through, him being a Templar sort and all.  But then he popped in with the rose, looking all awkward and "I know I'm probably going to have my heart crushed right now".  A few episodes later and it's the tent scene

I'm guessing the whole Lili thing was triggered simply by the approval level, as my previous character had also done the Margorie quest and talked about it afterwards.  The mage took Lili along more than my rogue did, though, which gave more opportunities for approval.  I'd say the romance options are a bit bugged in that sense, but then again, people aren't always completely sensible about love in the real world.
