ok disregarding pples false claims of me being rude fine line between being honest and direct you cannot tell me your fed up with this nonsens i think some pple need to look up 'abuse' in the dictionary and focus on topic the issue is fglitches unless of course you happy bioware totally did stupid pointless oversights counting in the dozens by far in splauyer...having key moments in splayer campaign unacceptable esp if your a true fan and you truly value the story not for it to be interrupted by shadows covering the faces of characters shepard interacts with or the 'pink undies' graphic glitch where pink clothing blocks the screen ..outrageous...unecessary.

1.Nowhere did I see someone accusing you of being rude, so I don't know where you're getting that from.
2.Punctuation PLEASE! I found it a little difficult to read your statement without it.
3.This isn't an 'anti-bioware' thread. I for one, was completely content with the game up until this one glitch happened, and I consider myself a 'true fan'. Now it's just a matter of constructively trying resolve it. Raging at Bioware isn't constructive. If you have nothing to contribute to this thread (ie. whether you have gotten the lipsync/audio glitches, when did it happen, what console you're on, or a suggestion on how to go about contacting someone peacefully) then please move on.

So now you call me an anti- bioware thread.

I HAVE BEEN MORE CONSTRUCTIVE THAN YOU CARE TO KNOW MATE!!!!

From the top incase you did not get it.

Sounds like your overtly quick to defend bioware...i like how you continue to twist my words you be construcxtive and look realistically at what i saying.

Right from the top.  You know when you are in textmod? and to create textures you need to activate the textmod filter? and when you do you press a button you get the overlay- ? you may consider how constructive i being if you not so blind to see that im referred to this as the core of what many people are having with the glitches. And for the record bioware want you to actually be grateful...and they are right at a point i certainly am - i think citadel dlc is the best in the game. But erality is professional game companies are EXPECTED if they have glitches in final product they release to ONLY limit it to minimal glitches.

Now that i made it clear to you- i hope your getting it at last...when you are in textmod you go into the mode, and then you are in game...and lo and behold ONLY when in texmod, are you supposed to see the flat overlay over the actual game screen well THIS OVERLAY HAPPENED during the ENTIRE scene when shepard meets with everyone- i would have aCCEPTED bioware's oversight if it was only for barely a minute but the ENTIRE 3 MINS and you saying pple should tolerate that???!

We get the dlc to experience the story not for ludicrous graphical glitches that are sooo dreadful they border to the point of embarassing if i were a game company i would be embarassed to have such a product. i just say it as it is you might want to try doing that sometime too mate.

So this 'pink' undies' effect does ruin the key moment or one of a few of the citadel dlc story. I very grateful for buioware for this dlc but you can be grateful and critical.

PErhaps unlike you i devoted a further 13 playhtroughs of different characters for shepard...and taking into account THAT is the scene the MOMENT shepard starts to piece the mystery as to who and why they want him dead? that is THE LAST scene any of you would want to be utterly ruined!

Consider yourself lucky you not had this problem. I admit i do not know whether it a textmod sync problem as i run mods in hd but it sho0uld not impact it simply cos i did not have th HD resolution mod fotr citadel dlc as it not out yet so that rules that out so what else can it be? I not accusing but i strongly suggesting on the basis of bioware's track record through me3 of oversights that are so obvious to us the player but not to the people that are supposesd to test how these cinematics play out? i mean cmon!

IF and it a huge IF textmod other textures not related to citadel dlc does interfere it still leaves the gtreatly annoying problem of a massive dark shadow hanging over all my squad faces in my second shepard playthrough i want to know has anyone come across that at all? the entire meeting scene was noy just overshadowed by this textmod 'pink undies' overlay but when it did not flash up in those few mins of that scene, then it most certainly the whol;e scene obscured in a unnatural black shadow i could not see my characters interact it was contradictory to the lighting.

LAst but not least how is it you can accuse me falsely of 'raging' and that the fantasy theory of yours that indeed bioware would respond if it werent for pple like me who say it as it is.

I pay a lot of money for citadel dlc as  many have pointed out, it is justified for us to complain and point out bluntly what is wrong for the 15.00 or so about to get that dlc we want something that at MOST has minimal glitches.

The fact bioware has not responded to this thread at all in the pages and if they have only to acknowledge the issue but not to explain how they resolve it or IF they will. The fact that bioware is not releasing another patch is proof that no matter how nice or not you are in requesting things they given up on me3 improvements which a lot of pple want!

I dont want my shepard to get stuck in the cockpit i dont want my characters to look in the total opposite direction when i chatting to them there head turning 180 deg like they are possessed.

Like you i paid a lot for this..is it value for money with such jhuge glitches?

There are some i overlook. And for the record the ending as they did it was one biblical GLITCH:O

So ask yourself mate why is it bioware have failed to acknowledge in the week plus this dlc has been out that or more importantly to assure us a fix is on the way? Why do game companies limit patches to a setpreconfigured amount?

I hope i wrong i hope bioware demonstrate to us they want to give us top value for money by another patch to resolve the splayer glitches. Maybe then pple would feel here that their concerns are being heard. But do not hold your breath guys- after all the omega dlc cinematic skipping when aria talkingh bouncing around like a frog at the pivotal moment of that story has long remained remarkably and apallingly even after patch 1.5 was released i think...

Heard about this and checked my own game--was very sad to discover I am having the same problem with my femShep/Kaidan pre-Cronos scene on the Xbox 360. Please fix this, Bioware! :(

Has anyone noticed any glitches in ME3 outside of the romance scenes? I was doing the Turian Platoon mission on Tuchanka after downloading and installing the Citadel DLC and during a short cutscene, my Femshep's eyes turned red and then one of them rolled to the back of her head, becoming totally white for a second or two before going back to normal. Good times...

Haven't played through the beginning of ME3 yet since v1.05 (only have done Citadel DLC, Cronos, and Earth), but now I'm really not looking forward to any future playthroughs if the only thing I can do (unless they fix these issues) to combat these immersion-breaking eye glitches and lip-sync issues is (1) delete the Title Update, (2) reload my save, (3) play cutscene, (4) save, then (5) exit, (6) re-download the Title Update, and (7) re-load my save past the cutscene so that I can get all the appropriate weapon specs and other fixes.

This was doable for just the pre-Cronos romance scene, but for many other potential scenes throughout the course of the entire game? Not so much. Please fix this, BioWare. Pretty please!

Well, some of this has existed before 1.05. In my first conversation with Liara a week after the game came out, Shepard kept looking at Glyph flying around behind him even while talking to Liara. But it does seem like the patch has made it worse.

Oh yeah, I believe that that Liara/Shepard Glyph bug has existed since the initial release of the game.  How did 1.05 make it worse for you?  (It was already pretty bad if I recall)...

Sorry for being unclear; I don't know if it's made that scene worse; what I mean is that since the patch we've seen new scenes being affected by what I'm guessing is some sort of head/eye tracking issue that previously were fine.

Oh no worries! :)  Gotcha.  Yeah, that's what's gotten me worried about any future playthroughs with this latest patch.  It's pretty much an all-around immersion-breaker if you're playing through the game and wondering if the next cutscene will have an eye glitch or a lip-sync glitch.

Ironically, the Liara/Glyph scene has been fixed.

I have been playing through the game. So far I haven't noticed this problem in any other scene. Fingers crossed?

Yeah that glitch is pretty bad but at least it's always been there and is one of the funnier glitches since it's not a key scene.  Having the pre cronos romance scene totally ruined though is just sad since it's a key moment for Shepard and the LI.

EDIT*  I sent a message to Michael Gamble on twitter about this in the off chance they weren't aware of the problem so no need to message him about it.  If we don't get some kind of official response to this then I'll try to bring it up when I visit the Bioware base at PAX east, which is coming up really soon.

All in all Citadel DLC played without any major game destroying glitches.. I met everyone, takes patience, had party, never wanted to leave it..*deep sigh*

I am not saying its perfect, small glitches aye..yet I ponder how can it be the patch, alone, when some have serious it seems problems and others not so much..Mystery..Logic says if its not happening in everyone's game, there must be other factors involved..IMO

What I am saying they at least Bioware deserves a thank you for doing it at all.....perfect no, few hiccups aye..sentimentally good..spot on..

Ummm... yeah ok. Do you think we're talking about the romance scene in the Citadel DLC? Just wait until you head to Crono's Station in the main game... then you'll know what we're talking about.

I loved Citadel by the way, but this has nothing to do with it.

I'm playing on a Xbox 360. Deleting the 11mb title update solved this problem for me. However, you might have to play offline.

The only differences I've noticed playing without the patches are:
-Changes to the weapons. For example, the Vindicator once again weighs the same as the Avenger.
-Fire explosions, once again, can only be detonated if the enemy dies.
-Fortification and Tech Armor have lost they're upgrades.

I plan on doing my final play-through of ME3(with all the DLC's) over the next week(or two) without the patches. I'll report back if I notice anything else.Image IPB

Didn't someone say earlier that clearing the cache removes all patches/updates/DLC for all games? I'm on PS3 so I have no idea what any of that means, in any case. On PS3 you just go to the "Mass Effect 3 DLC and Patches" file and delete it, then you can redownload the DLCs and keep it unpatched.

That's what happened to me on the xbox-I had to re-download everything because the xbox just wouldn't recognize the patches and DLC anymore.

And clearing the cache is just clearing system memory but not just related to the game you have problems with-it's not like uninstalling a patch-that physically removes that patch from your system.  Clearing the cache is supposed to clear out all those things that stay within the system's memory and that don't clear on their own.  It doesn't delete patches but something got effed up when I did it and even though the DLC was still on my machine, the xbox wouldn't recognize it.  My problem was with ME3 but it was a different problem at the time.

Logically, since this sounds like a memory problem you'd think clearing the cache would help but since it didn't, it's more likely a bigger memory issue than clearing the cache can solve.

So I just got a in contact with an very nice adviser at EA Answer HQ. He suggested I delete and re-download my updates. Unfortunately I'm at school so I couldn't do this - though I mentioned I don't think it'll work anyway since others have tried it. He wished for me to try it first, and see where it gets us. I don't blame him for suggesting this - they're going to want to make sure it's not an individual issue with my machine first. I'll give re-downloading it a try when I get home, just so I can say that I did, even if I doubt it'll work. He left a case reference number to get back to them if it doesn't work. I'll continue pursuing this on my own, but if anyone else want to take the time to contact an adviser, it might give them a hint that there's a bigger problem.

Redownloading won't fix it. Just as redownloading Leviathan and EC won't fix the EC bug caused by Leviathan.

They're universal immersion-breaking bugs experienced by everyone.

I know re-dowloading won't fix. I am going to do it though, so that when I get back to an adviser, I can honestly say it didn't work and can move on to the next step, what ever that may be. As I suggested, prehaps more people would like to get in touch with an adviser here: https://help.ea.com/contact-us.
It can be a bit of a wait to get into a live chat (took me about 30m), but prehaps the best course of action at this point is not to wait around on the forums, hoping someone will notice us, but to get in contact with actually people whose help tickets will be reviewed by a supervisor, who will then hopefully notice a common glitch being reported by customers. Idk, it might get the ball rolling.

So what did patch 1.05 do to powers and weapons again? I don't patch often, and am seeing posts about the multiplayer stats to powers and weapons have been applied to single player. What was different between the SP and MP versions?

the MP versions are nerfed straight to hell.....

I know  mate..this is not just about the Citadel..I replayed my cannon game, with all the DLC's..incl Citadel DLC, with onl;y minor glitches..not game breaking as some have had,,Loved it myself..
FYI .I have just finsihed Crono's station, no problems,..with the Happy Ending Mod MEHEM.. with no problems at all, as I said except a few things that could have
been tweaked more..That's all..I am on PC though perchance that is the difference, don't know, all I said is my playtrhough only had minor glitches..

Since Title Update 1.05, the core game's guns have been upgraded to their MP stats, which are universally boosts except for the Falcon, Paladin, and Carnifex. The DLC guns in SP have not been upgraded to their MP stats, which are universally nerfs (meaning, the Kyrsae and Venom are still very powerful).

This issue is a little out of their depth, the advisors I mean. They can fix things with solutions, like account problems and so forth. But an issue that hasn't been officially acknowledged? Forgot about using the advisors, I think you should keep doing what your doing here (and to contact devs on twitter if possible).

I just played through my Garrus romance scene before the attack on Cerberus and everything was normal with the patch (even though during the Citadel party/DLC, Garrus also made that head turn during the photo). So, do only the human-like characters get the glitched romance scene or am I just lucky? :/

By the way, I'm on the xbox...

Well, like I've mentioned before I don't have twitter so I'm not useful there. And I've done all I can to spread the word here. At this point, I'll just see where the advisor gets me, since it's one of the last avenues I know of that hasn't been explored yet.
