Ok another update on my game advisor adventures: called in to talk to a tech specialist today, but unfortunately, due some miscommunication, apparently tech specialists for escalated cases are not in Sat. Oh, well, mistakes happen. The 'general' specialist I got was kind enough to try to look into the issue himself, to the best of his ability. He couldn't find any resolution in his database, and admitted it does look like an issue caused by the patch, especially once I directed him to look at the Answer HQ thread and he noticed all the people having the same issue. He also said this is the first time he's heard of the glitch. He said he'd try bring this to the attention of those further up (ie. Bioware), but suggested I try calling the escalated specialists again within 7days, with the hopes that maybe they'd have some idea by then of what's going on. If it is a patch issue, he explained that there's no way to resolve it right away since they'd have to notify Bioware and try to begin the process, which will take a while. This is entirely understandable.
I think we should keep trying to get the attention of Bioware since it seems to me that it's up to them to fix the issue. I don't know who much of a impact little old me has done in contacting EA, but I'm hoping this means the balls has begun to roll, now that someone is aware of the issue. I know most people don't want to deal with the EA advisors but maybe of more people called/live chat with them, they might realize the seriousness of the issue? Entirely up to you folks.
I just really want an official response besides the maybes of those not in charge... Either way, I plan to call in to the specialists later next week just reinforce the fact that the issue is still there and needs to be resolved.
