CITADEL DLC/latest patch causing horrible glitches that effectively ruin certain scenes

It could be fixed with a simple patch I'd say. It's a shame as it took me out of the immersion.

Are folks who play this on PC having this problem? Someone who plays ME3 on PC has mentioned that the Liara romance scene in their playthrough is fine. So now I'm wondering if this is a console issue exclusively (XBox and PS3).
And as I shared upthread here yesterday, I also noticed - aside from my Liara romance scene being out of sync - that it takes just a bit longer for the elevator load screens to fade in from black. Something that didn't happen before patch 1.05. So, I'm wondering if its a load issue with the romance scenes in particular. Perhaps, it's taking just a bit too long to load the scenes (to fade in from black) and the lip sync is thrown off as a result. This, of course, may not explain the white eyes.

I think it's been mentioned that things have been freaking out since the last patch (title update, or whatever you call it)?
I don't remember seeing anything like this playing through Citadel with PC 1.05, though I wasn't paying real close attention to the stuff happening before the DLC, and I quit playing after finishing up the new content.
Hopefully you can get it sorted. They've said that there are no further patches planned, so I doubt it will ever get fixed on their end.
Well I hope they reconsider! I didn't spend all the money I did on the games and DLC to have it bugged to hell!
Yes you would think they would fix any bugs the last DLC created

Only issue I'm having now is whenever I start up the game I get a corrupt dlc message, but it states no specific name. Tried repairing the citadel dlc as this was the only new piece, but it can't find anything wrong and the issue is still here. Anyone else getting this since citadel? Or know if a fix?

This is possible, but in my experience the audio is lagging behind the video not the other way around. This doesn't mean that a screwy load speed isn't to blame, but it would imply it's fading in from black too soon rather than too slowly.

Exactly what I thought... Im wondering if there are other scenes in the main game that are messed up by Patch 1.05. After im done with the Citadel DLC I was planning on doing another playthrough on insane... guess im gonna find out.

I loaded up my games before going after Mr. Illusive, and all of my romance scenes are wonky like this too. The audio is completely out of sync and everyone's eyes roll back into their head. I feel like I'm watching the Exorcist.
I've played other scenes after the patch, and they appear to be in order. It's just the romance scenes for me where they all become possessed. I couldn't even get through all of the scenes partly because I was laughing to hard and was terrified. The Citadel DLC interestingly enough works fine and I haven't encountered any glitches.
For reference I'm playing on the XBOX.

Guess I made the best possible choice I could in love interests, because this glitch won't ruin her romance scene like everyone else's.

And we're not getting a patch for the romance scene, folks. We're just gonna have to live with it.

I think many of us aren't hoping for a new patch as much as a rollback to the previous patch where this was not a problem.
This is a serious issue because the content has always worked fine; it's the update itself that breaks it.
We likely will have to live with it, but I greatly hope not. They aren't little ticks; the errors are fairly major and jarring in the scene. Considering it's a pivotal scene, that makes it even more of a problem.
Let's not forget we paid for this service.

As depressing as it sounds to those of us (including me) who play these games for the story immersion, one bugged cutscene isn't a game breaker for Bioware. The most we're gonna get is a lock from Priestly saying that no more patches are planned.
Do not trust to hope. It has forsaken these lands.

You know, if I do have to get the .05 patch to play the DLC like I'm afraid of... I'm glad Tali is to be my love interest. She has no mouth or lips to sync the audio with, and her eyes rolling into her head won't even be noticeable anyway. Worst that might happen is the little mouth light she has that flashes in synch with her speaking might get slightly off, which will be much less bothersome then having actual lip sync be off.

Your Shepard will be out of sync though... so its only half better lol.

Look, I want this fixed as much as anybody. But fixing these things take time and money. The Mass Effect team is moving on, and I think it would take a HUGE game breaking problem to get them to go back and make another patch.

Yeah... it does take time and money... and maybe if they took some time to properly test this patch we wouldn't have this problem. Lets not forget that this is the only scene that we know about... I don't know about you, but I haven't gone through the whole game again to check every single scene. There are still people out there that haven't even played this game yet, and paid full price. My friend for example bought it and got all the DLC for it, but just hasn't had the time to play it.
I myself paid full price when it came out, and all the DLC available for it, so about $100 all in all... Ashley Williams Marksman ability pissed me off, but I got over it, and that glitched speech Aria gives on Omega I can live with I guess... but no, not this... its not what I paid for, and it was working fine before patch 1.05.
This is NOT the quality I wanted, this is not the quality that YOU want either... Bioware didn't really owe us anything... but THIS... is stupid... they broke it... fix it, end of story. Maybe not in the next week or in a month, but sometime down the road... yes we deserve a fix to what they broke.
What if you bought a TV from me... then a few months later I show up on your door step and say im the one who manufactured it, and that there's a fault with one of the HDMI ports. So I ask if I can come in and fix it, you say "sure ok". I pull a hammer out of my bag and smash the side of your TV in, so that I can get at the port... Then I replace it with a new port and walk out the door without a word. Your running out the door yelling at me, "hey! You trashed the side of my TV, and the HDMI port is just hanging out of the socket!!! I'm like "sorry, no more service calls... that costs time and money"
No... I'm not asking people to start trash talking Bioware, they don't deserve that, but when something messed up, its messed up. I supported the game through all this dumb ass "bad ending" crap, but i'm not going to just stand for this. I at the very least, want my voice to be heard... as dumb as that sounds, its just a video game, but its a video game I paid for.

THIS.THIS EXACTLY. I supported Bioware and this game from start to finish. I have been a mostly satisfied customer up until this point. The reason I love Bioware games is the immersion, and this glitch (caused from THEIR end) ruins it. Please fix this Bioware, I don't want this to be the the thing that finally turns me into one of those bitter fans who have lost all faith in the company. If this issue is ignored I will have to side with the notion that this company has sold themselves out; that they don't care about the fans, only the money. I DONT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN.

Yeah money that I gave to Bioware so it'd be nice if they took that money and paid some people to go back and fix this problem.
