It really is :( But such is the internet. You know, I think they honestly probably don't know about the glitch - I mean, how many of us have gone back a played through the games since patch 1.05? I'd like to hope it's just a matter of getting their attention. We just need an offical response and seeing how this thread has only been up a couple of days, I think we just need to be patient and keep politely waving our hands :P

Indeed, it is a matter of getting their attention, but I don't know if this forum is the most efficient way to do that.  Truth be told, I don't know what is.  But I think JonMan21's question about this at Answers HQ (as referenced upthread) might be a viable avenue independent of this forum:

http://answers.ea.co...highlight/false

At the time of this writing, 24 people have pressed "Me Too" (since JonMan21 posted it 3 days ago).  If you haven't already, I encourage folks who want to this see this fixed to visit and press "Me Too."   The more who provide their input, the better chances we may have...

And it might be a good idea to do what AndreasShepard has done, share images of what you are experiencing (if you have the capability to do that) or (as I did) record it and post it at the above address.  Kaidan and Liara are covered in this regard - but what about the Miranda and Ashley romance scenes?   Perhaps, if Bioware can see in no uncertain terms what is going on, they might be inclined to look into it.    Just a suggestion - I don't know if it will make any more of a difference than writing about it here - but it couldn't hurt.

Anyone here try the ol' clear cache method on the X360? To see if it helps.

I believe ThinkSharp has done this and it did fix the problem, as mentioned here (scroll to bottom of the page):

But, as I understand it, doing so wipes out all previous patches (if "clearing the cache" and "deleting the title updates" are one and the same).  And I believe it deletes the laundry list of improvements JonMan21 listed a bit further up in this thread.

Yeah, I agree: there's doesnt seem to be clear course of action with regard to notifying someone. I figure our best bet is trying as many different avenues as we can. I've commented on the the ME FB page and this is why I was suggesting twitter. I also made a tumlbr post linking people to both this thread the HQ Answer page. I don't know where else we can wave our flag in the hopes that someone might respond/take notice.

So clearing the cache and removing the updates are not the same thing?

Or is it working for some people, and not for others?

Didn't someone say earlier that clearing the cache removes all patches/updates/DLC for all games? I'm on PS3 so I have no idea what any of that means, in any case. On PS3 you just go to the "Mass Effect 3 DLC and Patches" file and delete it, then you can redownload the DLCs and keep it unpatched.

No, clearing the cache and deleting the updates are two different thing. :)

So I was just stumbling around Answer HQ and found a 'contact a game adviser' option. I'm gonna give it a try folks and see what happens!

I would do that on the X360, but I love the weapon stat updates too much (N7 Hurricane & N7 Eagle is a beast now with the last patch).

Ok sorry folks, I gotta head to bed. Here's the link if anyone wants to give it a go :https://help.ea.com/contact-us
just scroll down and choose the live chat option. If no one has made contact by tomorrow afternoon, I'll give it another try when I get back from work. :)

Just keep in mind that the person who answers is not in any power to do/change anything atm. Just ask them if they are aware of the problem and whether they can infrom someone who can begin the process of fixing it. If they can't ask who you can contact. Probably a good idea to link them this thread and the Answer HQ thread as evidence. Remember to be kind, courtious, and patient! :)

1.Nowhere did I see someone accusing you of being rude, so I don't know where you're getting that from.
2.Punctuation PLEASE! I found it a little difficult to read your statement without it.
3.This isn't an 'anti-bioware' thread. I for one, was completely content with the game up until this one glitch happened, and I consider myself a 'true fan'. Now it's just a matter of constructively trying resolve it. Raging at Bioware isn't constructive. If you have nothing to contribute to this thread (ie. whether you have gotten the lipsync/audio glitches, when did it happen, what console you're on, or a suggestion on how to go about contacting someone peacefully) then please move on.

The glitches I expierenced were so small, a cansino game, couldn't play Ok..I had no lip sync problem whatsoever with  my LI Liara, romance scene.
No glitches that real bothered me, except making My Sheaprd wear that stupid dress..that was just a horrible decsion..lol:P
All in all Citadel DLC played without any major game destroying glitches.. I met everyone, takes patience, had party, never wanted to leave it..*deep sigh*

I am not saying its perfect, small glitches aye..yet I ponder how can it be the patch, alone, when some have serious it seems problems and others not so much..Mystery..Logic says if its not happening in everyone's game, there must be other factors involved..IMO

What I am saying they at least Bioware deserves a thank you for doing it at all.....perfect no, few hiccups aye..sentimentally good..spot on..
Then I had my perfect Ending at last with MEHEM..bless the modders..
I think we also must remember that indeed this DLC was a gift especially
the team shot..nice desktop screenie..and getting to be with them all again,.The party made me
laugh smile and remember

It is what it is, and its more than we had before..at least they tried to give us something, as closure, was there room for improvement, and some wee tweaking aye..still it was bloody good..
Cheers mates...

Clearing the cache often deletes downloaded content, but it doesn't always. The title update (patches) has to be manually deleted from storage.

Without the title update, the scene runs without the glitched audio.

This isn't a true fix to the real problem by any means, however, because it removes all improvements made by patches previous to v1.05. (It's either the most current update or none at all).

Also, until you update, you will be unable to access the multiplayer feature of the game--effectively being barred from excellent content you paid for--and, if you're on Xbox live, will be unable to use that service while playing ME3. I can't speak to whether it prevents you from using the PS3 online service.

@ aeryn333, you're playing on PC, right? Your Liara romance scene was fine but I'm on the X360 and mine wasn't. After the dream, Liara's lips were off with the dialogue until the dialogue wheel came up. Maybe this is an issue only affecting console users (must be memory-related, then, huh?). We need more data.

I've got issues with the romance prior to Priority: Cerberus Station

The romance is with Ashley, the lip sync is off to the point of lips not even moving at certain points.

I've done some testing with this issue and it is indeed the latest title update that causes the cinematic glitches.

Clearing my Xbox 360 system cache and deleting the Title Update in the ME3 save area of the Hard Drive manually corrects the issue. The issue is there with Ashley and Liara's romance. Traynor's seems to be fine, but those are the only romances I have to test. Based on what other folks have said, the other main romances are glitched, too.

I'm just glad there's a work-around.

I don't know how much of a work-around it is when deleting the previous patches will: 1. potentially brings back other bugs they fixed 2. deny you the ability to go on multiplayer (which not everyone plays but I do T.T ). I guess it's better than having nothing to fall back on, but I'm still hoping Bioware will do something about it...

To anyone else able to give feedback on the romance scenes not accounted for:

Make sure you check the scene before and AFTER the dream sequence. (Liara, for instance, only seems to glitch post-dream.)

Please specify what platform you're using.

The more feedback as to what specifically is wrong, the better.

Well, it takes maybe a minute to restart the game and redownload the patch once the scene is over with, so it's not that big a deal to me.

I've run into the exorcist head turn thing long before the Citadel DLC.  I even experienced it in ME2 (Kelly Chambers getting all monster and turning her head 120 degrees from her position at her station to throw a comment at my Shepard).  This is a recurrent issue though I have only RARELY come across it (this is on the PC).

This next I would call an oversight rather than a glitch:  if you are an infiltrator, cloaking is USELESS in the Citadel DLC.  The ONE skill that delineates an infiltrator from the other classes is cloak but in the Citadel DLC the bad guys see you while cloaked exactly like you aren't cloaked at all.  WTF?  Clearly shortcuts were used in tossing out the DLC (including the fact that it is chock full to overflowing with even more autodialog than the main game itself.  STOP IT BIOWARE!  LESS autdialog, NOT more!).
