Hunter mode, bro.

Not like I couldn't put the geth scanner on any class, but the GI doesn't need it freeing up that gear slot for extra weapon damage, missiles, or medigels.

These are ranked by ease of use for getting top score on a leaderboard and/o dealing with every possible situation.

Geth Soldier with an Acolyte and Shield equipment with Disruptor Ammo
The most grossly over powered class in the game with no appreciable weaknesses and requires the least amount of skill of all the setups. If there is shields, use the acolyte, if there are no shields, burn it. Requires zero brain power to operate.

Krogan Vanguard with a Kal'Reegar and maxed out Shield IV equipment and Warp Ammo
The only true tank class other than the Juggernaut, melee Primes, hide behind waist high cover when Praetorians show up and charge if they try to jump over it. Its easily my favorite anti Collector class in the game.

Asari Infiltrator with Acolyte, Disruptor Ammo and Power Damage upgrades
Dark Channel getting bonuses from Tac Cloak and Power Amps means you can just randomly slam it on a Phantom and it'll die in under 12 seconds. Apply it to a Atlas, then Cloak and Warp and you'll end up taking out 4-6 bars of armor off it. 

Sexbot with a Kal'Reegar with Incendiary and Speed mod equipment
Only class in the game that I can get swung at by a Phantom and actually be able to jump out of the way. Cloak -> Freeze -> Burn -> Repeat.

Asari Adept with anything.
Shes the original ultimate gold class from the demo and shes still the best all around. It would be nice if more than 50% of the classes were viable in Platinum.

QFI with Javelin.

Flamerless Geth Trooper with Javelin and Wraith.

Turian Sentinel and Asari Huntress are the 2 characters next on my list.

Quarian Marksman for Collectors with the PPR

GI, with Talon, Javelin, Black Widow.
TSol, I equip with the Typhoon or sometimes the Indra
TSent with Hurricane and Paladin or Scorpion as an emergency side arm
QFI with Valiant, BW, Indra, or Widow
BatSol, weapon varies

Honorable mention to the Asari Sentinel and Vanguards, but not having much luck with their abilities working off host keeps me from using them more often.
