I have never in my life gotten anything but promotional weapons from Commendation packs, I think my account was bugged.

*Thats Valkrie, Crusader, Hurricane, Eagle and Valiant, -NOTHING- Else*

It's why I've had no interest in participating in the weekend events. and Now that they are over *I'm assuming Lodestar is the last one*, I'm even more annoyed

I honestly think anyone that abused that glitch should have what they were awarded via the glitch taken away.. Hardly fair to those of us that didn't exploit because we knew it was wrong. :I

You can not use that argument in this case because CmnDwnWrkn is saying everyone should get more weapons, there is no way to explictly exclude the people that abused this.

Give enough that everyone can max their promos. It would then be even.

I would think that is more or less a fair compromise, instead of just taking away all your weapons.

The number of packs i got was only the ones for the challenges ive done since the challege lists were added, im missing the ones i got from the original community challenges. When it was reset yesterday i was given 7 packs 2 for this weeks challenge & 5 for thr previous weeks. Im still missing the ones from the community challenges that took place before the individual challenges were patched in. There were 2 when the PS3 first got access to the challenges then i got at least one other after that. Im not trying to get something for nothing here im just trying to get back what ive earned.

This is rediculous I opened about five or six before realising something was up and then I was one of the first people on here reporting the problem. I though we were supposed to be having our weapons rolled back to the point of the glitch, not losing them all together. I was quite content to have the extra taken away as I didn't want them without working for them but to now have none at all. I've worked hard at the weekend challenges and now get rolled back completely for one of your glitches.

Not doing any further weekend challenges while this stands.

Hold on have I lost them or will I have 24 (the number of weekend challenges I've done)  Commendation Packs ready to open? Confused as to whats happened?

@Ahms you are correct we did not give credit for prior to retaliation. To be fair you did open more than 25.

Funny how a lot of the glitcher defenders have "such and such deserves a "better" ending." signatures, no? I could think of a million and one more derisive things to say, but I won't, because I'm getting dangerously close to Renegon as is.

That said, if it weren't for pre-Retal not being taken into account, I would personally roll back everyone who opened even one pack too many. You know, spread the potential Hurricane X love around a bit. (speaking of which, u jelly?)

IMHO, If you opened more than 5 packs you should be perma-banned and the Manifest should be wiped. NOT ONCE did I ever cheat. I am proud because I EARNED everything that I have. There are enough cheaters in ME3 MP as it is, harder punishment should be used.

What? I was so proud of my Eagle X, now I have a chance not to have it? F*ck bug abusers :-(

Thank you for correcting this Bryan. People should have known better when they opened multiple packs. Maybe in the future some will contact you when they see an issue with their packs, instead of hoping they won't be caught.

2400 packs may deserve a ban though...

Ok this aint exactly fair.
I was one of the first people to report this bug on the forums and PM'd to Moderators. I did open quite a few of these packs. Between 5-10 at first before i realized the bug. And then a couple more in intervalls of an hour or two. Curious weather they fixed it.

Today i come back and ALL my promotional weapons are gone. Including all i had before this glitch.

What happened to the "rollback" ?

There's a lot of chest-beating about banning people for opening too many packs. As I've said before, while it should have been clear, in fairly short order, that there was a problem not every me3 player had a bsn account it would know who to talk to about this.

Moreover, despite the game rating, a large number of minors play this game and are unlikely to have the wherewithal or self-discipline not to open as many free packs as they could - banning them for this would be disproportionate and heavy-handed. I think that Bioware's stance of removing the received packs is a sensible solution.

It's resolved, let it go, go play the game.

5-10 before you realized there was a bug, then opened a few more?!!!  You were either trying to take advantage of it, or you're an idiot.  No other excuses.  You should have your promos wiped.  Be thankful the rest of your manifest wasn't touched...

What the hell are you on?

Maybe you got nothing better to do than read ME news/forums all day but the rest of us have these things called daytime jobs ya know. Opening more than one seemed perfectly reasonable at the time. Everyone affected either expected a character unlock for the weekend challenge or the packs just stopping to pop up at some point.
My first thought was they're given out more than one pack in celebration of the DLC release.

Alas it wasn't so and then i/we reported on the forums.

Hey Bryan, just how many packs should we have received? I got a gift pack last weekend and one this weekend. I earned three commendation packs. One last weekend and two this weekend. Should I have gotten another gift pack or commendation pack somewhere? Thanks.

The "they should really have known they were cheating" argument would really hold together better if it weren't for things like reload-cancelling, which looks for all the world like a bug being exploited but is actually apparently "working as intended."

And, um, some people play in altered states of consciousness. Forget chemical alterations, I've been tired enough that it might have taken me a few packs to catch on.

Note that I didn't open any extra packs.
