Hi, there.

We are a music band called StarBreeze from Saint Petersburg, Russia. Today we have good news for everyone.

But first of all, we want to write some lines explaining our bond with BioWare games, our endless love to them and why we did what we did.

We are extremely grateful to the makers of Mass Effect, BioWare company, for all that work and love that they put into their products. Over the time of our supraliminal lives they have been pleasing us with their amazing games always forcing to empathize, love, think, evolve, become better (well, at least if you play lawful good :) characters). First of all we are speaking about BioWare's RPGs, we have particular love with, that took its place since the very first Baldur's Gate game. Its profundity and diversity astonished us in that times when we were children. The second game completely charmed our hearts. Since that time, we didn't miss a single BioWare game, each game strengthened our confidence in BioWare's guys making the right thing. Then adult life began and left a very little time for games (heh, but we found a little bit to play Jade Empire). Although, a brand new project Mass Effect had sparked some interest, it was very hard to believe that something can attract attention as much as in the years of carefree youth. We were so wrong! When the game was released, we were convinced one more time that BioWare simply isn't able to make games worse those already released, only better! We loved the setting created by the team not less and, in some aspects, even more than Star Wars sitting on its eternal sci-fi throne. We loved it so much that it became an endless source of inspiration for our creative work.At some point we realized that BioWare gave us too much and got none except for darned money in return. It's good in capitalist world, but we believe it isn't money what warms up the maker soul. Getting some professional skills we decided to spend a portion of creativeness, we got from the Mass Effect games, and our personal financial & time resources in making a musical tribute to BioWare's masterpiece.

So, here's the release part.
Almost three years of work, countless eve's spent on writing, recording and mixing the material, and we are glad to present you one of the tracks from the upcoming album (we expect to release it in the course of a month). The whole album's title is "N7" and the song we are presenting right now titled "More Than Ideal". You can listen it on our bandcamp page (link below) absolutely free and download it in lossless quality there.

So, here is the promised link - starbreeze.bandcamp.com/track/more-than-ideal
Also checkout our facebook page (www.facebook.com/Starbreezeband) and like it if you truly like our music, your attention really matters a lot to us.
We wish good listening to everyone!

Am I only one who think that saying about yourself that you "amazing" - is too much arrogance to begin with? =] Through, that was ok, even if not in my taste.

p.s. Cheers to Spb from Msk.

Leesard, we truly believe one should not release his product if one can't say that the product is amazing.

Endgame22, actually, it doesn't. The rest of the songs are much more authentic and serious but still... well... amazing =)

P.S. Leesard, cheers!
