interesting, I also had Javik speak up first and then EDI. I admit I literally never used EDI(or Tali) lol, but I bring Javik all the time I didnt even get a vibe from him like the game was telling me I dont use him. I thought it was more like he expected to go cause I use him so much, but EDI yeah shes like "seems I never get chosen" or w/e. I wonder if its like 1st person = guy you used the most but chose not to bring and 2nd = least used character.

You got a complaint from Javik because he's used to going along.  I got the same thing with Garrus because I took Wrex in his place.  I take Garrus and Liara almost exclusively, but in that case I took Liara and Wrex, so Garrus complained because he's usually with the ground team, and EDI complained because she never gets to go.

They base it on your two favorite squadmates and your least favorite.  I thought it was an awesome little nod.

never got one from the first part. Like I said, it might default to Wrex if you don't bring him

Garrus: [whine] awwwww, I wanted to go! [/whine]
EDI: As did I. It seems I rarely get picked.

Sorry EDI.

Strange, Javik and EDI complain about me not picking them even though they're the ones I used the most.

Hmmm, if that's true, it would be a bug.  The first person to speak should be the squadmate who you've used the most outside of the ones you've already picked for the current squad.  The second one should be the person you used the least.  I just peeked at the logic, and it looks good, so I bet in your game, you must have picked other squadmates as much or more than one of EDI or Javik.

The one counter to that rule is if you have Wrex alive but didn't pick him, he'll complain first.  Then the least used person will speak up.

What about Wrex? Why would he go first then? Unless I used Garrus and Tali THAT much....

Garrus complained he wanted to come, and than james complained about rarly getting picked.

And bringing EDI along was one of the funniest moments I have ever seen in the dlc so far. XD

She went full derpy on me.

I remember that I use Kaidan the most, then EDI, and then Javik. I'm certain of this because after I chose the Destroy ending, Javik and Kaidan were the ones who stepped out of the Normandy. Since EDI was dead, it would automatically go to the third most used companion I believe. I chose Wrex and Kaidan for my team, but I doubt it makes a difference. It may be a glitch, but it's not important. Thanks for answering.

It's the one time you get to fight alongside your old friend, and you don't pick him?  Of course Wrex's feelings are going to be hurt.Posted Image

Happened to me too. Wrex spoke first then kaidan, but Kaidan is along with Garrus the ones I use most.

Lol, fair enough. But I thought that Garrus and Tali were the best squad for retaking the Nomandy, I mean, they have more accumulated time on the Normandy than anyone else.

Ah, that explains why Garrus complained and then Javik. I never use Javik, so that made sense, but I wondered why Garrus would complain as he's with me on pretty every major mission (and many minor ones too).

And what happens if you bring
EDI? It says they shut her down, but would they have the bot just fall
over? Or do they retcon the whole "the bots just a tool" thing?

She actually does deactivate and fall over... for a few seconds. Then she reboots and, well, you'll just have to see for yourself. One of the funniest scenes in the DLC, if you ask me.

How she is able to reboot? The game never tells you, but my theory is that she's aware something might happen that disconnects her from the Normandy (I believe her body has to remain in tight-beam range or something like that) and she has transferred a portion of herself to her body big enough to remain functional without connection to the Normandy, just in case.

In fact, this isn't the first time she gets disconnected from the Normandy; if you take her to Rannoch to disable the jamming towers, she also gets disconnected or at least suffers from a lot of noise in the connection, while still being able to function properly.

In all my playthroughs it has been Kaidan or Ashley.

I love that there's actually logic behind the character that complains. It was EDI on mine and I wasn't sure if it was just a coincidence or whether the game DID actually know I rarely picked her!

I definitely remember Wrex complaining. I just generally brought Liara and Javik in ME3 (though I picked Liara + Ashley for that specific mission), Miranda + Garrus (sometimes Jack or Samara) in ME2 and Liara + Ashley in ME1. For some reason, Krogans die *all the time* on me.

From the very first moment he opened his mouth I hated Kaiden. He even whines like Carth Onassi *shudder*.

God I hate Carth.

For me it was Wrex and Kaidan. I actually felt worse about Wrex than about Kaidan.

And with Kaidan it it was more a matter of convenience, he was in the hospital for half of the game and then after he came back I already had my favorites to take on missions, so sorry, Kaidan, but you snooze you lose.

Shepard killed Wrex on Virmire so James saved him and Kaidan which was great since James I use the second most after Kadian (LI)

Had Javik say he wished he come along and Liara say she rarely gets picked.

Nice touch.

I haven't played KoToR yet, what's wrong with Carth? Most of the male gamers hate this guy.

Carth just spends the whole game whining about his own trust issues. Which makes it all the sweeter if you turn dark side.

Edit: Imagine Mars VS dialogue for an entire game.

I took Garrus and Wrex with me, so had James wanting to go, and Kaidan upset about not being picked. Which is weird because I thought I took him more than Javik or Liara, but oh well.

That was a nice touch by the way. I felt kinda bad about it.

When Ashely said it during my last play through, It was actually true (which prompted me to say "Yep" out loud). I have only ever chosen to use her ONCE between ME1 and ME3.

Personally, I always found him to be a big whiny ******-baby.  He constantly b*tched about everything.  It's even worse if you play as a dark jedi.
