Wrex and Tali complained for me.

Tali said something like, "Awwww. I never get picked!"

I actually rotate all of my squadmates out and use them more or less equally, so Tali did get used on missions. But I guess she must have ended up being used slightly less than others.

Tali in me2 and 3 arrives last so it makes sense she'd be used the least.
I think Tali complained in my adept playthrough as well.

Ashley complained "I'm never picked" in my playthrough - I only just acquired her after the Cerberus coup and haven't taken her for a mission yet.

For me it was Wrex (which was adorable, he sounded like a lost puppy) and Ashley. She then complained about having a great dress and figure for it but never was given a chance to wear it. If I could have brought myself to give even the slightest damn about that I would have. I hate her :-/

I didn't pick Garrus for the Citadel DLC but I picked him a lot otherwise, and he said he had expected to be going with me or something like that, and I think it was Ash who said she never got picked, which might be correct actualy.. Sometimes I tihnk Ash would have a better time with Hackett and be more useful aswell.

I'm not even sure if it's best to let Ash tag along on the Normandy or spread her own wings and get ready for the Specre work on her own! Two spectres saving the galaxy shoudl be better than one having the other locked down in the ship.. If I could send her on side missions then it would be less of a problem.

What about Wrex? Why would he go first then? Unless I used Garrus and Tali THAT much....

It's the one time you get to fight alongside your old friend, and you don't pick him?  Of course Wrex's feelings are going to be hurt.Posted Image

I had to pick Wrex just for that one reason.

And yes, I used Garrus a lot, not every mission but still on enough mission's and he was the first to speak and it sounded like he thought he would be the obvious pick seeing as Shepard picks him so often. And Ash said she never get's picked or whatever she said. And yeah, on my infiltrator playthroughs I usualy pick garrus and a biotic or engineer. I also tend to shift in some of the least played squadmates for the N7 missions.

Just to let them be able to say they went on missions with "The Shepard" Posted Image

It was funny when EDI complained about rarely being picked. My Shepard followed up with "I'll bring Joker back to you safe and sound."

Liara sounded so cute with her "I really wanted to go." I take her and Ash on every mission though, i wanted to roll with Wrex for old times sake. :)

Damn you, Bioware. This concept is wholly unnecessary and vexing.

I picked Kaidan and Wrex, and got a great elevator scene so I'm glad (they were my main ME1 squaddies, so they had plenty of elevator talks).

Garrus said he wanted to go. Liara complained that she never gets picked. It was easy for me to figure out the formula when I saw that.

Picked Wrex and Tali for the whole DLC. A shame that we can't use Wrex during the rest of the game, because this would be my new favorite team.

Complainers: Garrus and EDI.

Hahaha poor Javik...the fact that you complained about me never using you despite me only having picked up Tali like three missions ago should tell you how much attention I pay to you. (okay, it was more than three.)

I picked Liara and Ashley for the DLC (nice elevator scene). EDI (I usually use her) and Garrus were the complainers.

Strange, Javik and EDI complain about me not picking them even though they're the ones I used the most.

Hmmm, if that's true, it would be a bug.  The first person to speak should be the squadmate who you've used the most outside of the ones you've already picked for the current squad.  The second one should be the person you used the least.  I just peeked at the logic, and it looks good, so I bet in your game, you must have picked other squadmates as much or more than one of EDI or Javik.

The one counter to that rule is if you have Wrex alive but didn't pick him, he'll complain first.  Then the least used person will speak up.

Also, out of curiosity...was this system also used to determine who was on the comm with you at the beginning of the DLC? For me it was Garrus, who was my LI, and Tali, whom I took with me almost everywhere. I've seen combinations of others and wondered what affected it besides LI status, but it'd make sense if it used this system.

That would make a lot of sense. The two talking during the rescue were Garrus (LI) and James, who were also my most used according to the 'getting picked' dialogue.

That might be the case. Maybe it is just a matter of being used less by virtue of being late to the party.

Liara said she wanted to come and then EDI and Ashley said they rarely get picked. I sometimes take EDI but I have only taken Ashley for one mission, Mars not included. I took Tali and Wrex, my team throughout the entire DLC and very appropriate since they were my squad in Mass Effect 1.

Javik was disappointed because i normally pick him for the main missions.
James got the never get picked line for me. Actually might make me give the poor soul a runout.

It's EDI for me. But I play that part right after the citadel then do all the other stuff through the game so I'm not done with the hub in one shot and it doesn't feel like one long thing that ends quickly. Tali is never there for the clone battle. I always bring Garrus and generally James. Wrex complained that he wanted to come. Kaidan said nothing. EDI says she rarely gets picked, but she's only useful in cronos for me. I take the best warriors I have. Kaidan is Meh. Javik is Meh. EDI is limited. Liara actually drags the team down and the missions always take forever with her. So James and Garrus it is for most if not all of my missions. I played Liara with Garrus a lot the first time and Liara was not a good squaddie like in ME1 where she was a wrecking ball. Kaidan is basically a soldier with powers that take forever to recharge if you give him a good gun. So he's MEH and also screams like a girl whenever he sees a banshee. When I finally tried James I realized he's better than most of the others.

James is good. Spec him for weapons and carnage and he is pretty powerful. Give him a good assault rifle and don't worry about the shotgun. Go lightweight on that. Then he recharges faster and you get carnage a lot. ME3 really is a shooter at its core. So you need the best shooter you have. Even with my adept, I was shooting a lot and picking the best bouns power I could get - was dominate or flare.

When I played no LI I got Liara. When I played Garrus as a LI I got him. I think LI might come first because they would want to be there to help.

I wish the dialogue from the squad wasn't sooo muffled. I could barely hear Garrus and he didn't sound like him. I could hear liara better so it might just be an issue with the game.

First playthrough: took Tali and Javik.
Second playthrough: took Garrus and Tali.

EDI complained about never getting picked both times. I thought it was hilarious.

Probably; I got Tali and Garrus on the comm both times too (although who was first and who was second switched between my ManShep and FemShep).
