I was prepared to hate it. I downloaded it and started to play it trying to find things to hate it for.
But I just could not. I loved it. Sure it does not change the ending, but I feel it makes up for it somehow. It gave me exactly what I loved about ME games. Humour, squad and good times. 

Sure some dialogues and situations could have been expanded. The main plot is predictable but still well written, especially all the banter. But it was good. It made me renew my love for ME universe and want to play the games again even with the ending.

Lets take it for what it is, a great service to us done by Bioware, the Last Hurrah of Shepards saga. Lets drink for the Normandy, its crew and the people who created it. Cheers! 

EDIT:could can be understood as did, but the word and meaning of could is closer to what I felt.

^No, he was unsure if he would hate it. But he still bought it anyway, since like you and me, he likes ME. So he wasn't going in with high expectations and neither was I. I was stunned and so was he. Read more than the first sentence.

I did read more. Just because I commented on the first sentence doesn't mean I didn't read the rest.

If we're being nitpicky, it's actually the second sentence I pointed out.
