If you play on PC, there is the gibbed save editor. You can get the 3 cerberus armors without doing the armax arena even once (debug).

Wow, the Debug option works on the DLC armor too? So as soon as I dowload the DLC it will already be there?

Yep. All three were avalaible from the get go. I could do the dlc main missions with the Cerberus Nightmare armor.

Which one did you pick? My infil shep has the shade one while my sent shep has the spirit. I may go with the nightmare one for my soldier shep.

Nightmare armor

Why? Because I play a versatile vanguard using almost SOLELY an N7 crusader. The nightmare armor boosts both headshot and weapon damages by 20% each which is what I go for with the crusader which has high rate of fire AND pinpoint accuracy.

furthermore with the kids introduced in this DLC I sacrificed the thermal clip upgrade on my shotgun for ultra light materials to decrease cool down time (175% bonus) which makes the ammo reserve of the crusader rather small BUT the nightmare armor also adds 20% bonus ammo capacity

The bonus on shields and shields regeneration time is just icing on the cake

All in all much higher bonuses overall than any N7 combination

It should've popped the first time you got 9999, you don't have to do anything special- I had just unlocked elite level opponents, so I was trying those out. And after the match, to my surprise I heard the achievement unlocked noise. Unfortunately, the screen changed before it actually showed what achievement I just got. So, I was totally confused at first, then as I was going to redeem my prizes, I passed by the score board and saw I hit 9999.

Went back down, checked my e-mail in the arena system, and I got an apology e-mail saying they'll give me some armor for my trouble. After that, the blue objective arrow popped up pointing me to that case by the reward redemption kiosk, clicked on it, and got my choice of the armors.

So if the e-mail didn't pop up immediately for you, not sure what's going on.

Did all this. I received no email nor objective marker.

Oh, well. I guess it's back to resorting to cheating for me.

Did you check the "e-mail in the Arena mission system? it's not the same as Shepards regular E-mail.

Then you have to pick up the armor next to the counter where they sell the gold tier rewards. It's one of those manequins you have to click.

For the record, folks, this was why I was having my problem. I thought that talking to the VI was the same as reading the email. It is not.

Problem solved!

Yep, and when you pick your reward from the Arena, you get a duplicate of that one.

As for what's best for what, it's pretty simple:

Nightmare = Soldier/Infiltrator
Spirit = Adept/Engineer
Shade = Sentinel/Vanguard

Plot > Mass Effect 3 > Armor > Flags > check "Debug"

You can also unlock all the armour parts with the other check boxes in that section.

Shade for Vanguards? I would go for either Nightmare or Spirit myself, depending on whether my focus lies on shotgun damage or on Novaguarding. Though I guess Shade works better if you like to mix it up.

I'm pretty sure you have to get 9,999 playing Mirror Match. That's how I got mine.

You don't have to get 9999+ against Mirror Match, it doesn't matter which match you do it under, just get 9999+ anywhere.

Once you get the achievement for it, you should have gotten an email at the Armax Arena terminal saying you're eligible for a set.

As a powers-based Sentinel, I picked up the Spirit version and it's amazing. The Cerberus Spirit armor renders the Inferno armor and the Blood Dragon armor pretty much useless.

True, I was thinking fairly generally, in the Vanguard = power damage and melee sense.

I know im quite late but for the record cerberus super elite and then doing it before the 5 min. timespan also will give you over 9999 points

but use flare on an adept/vanguard/sentinel its an easy kill streak multiplyer since it have massive damage and a large area
