Maybe if they fixed the issues it currently has and maybe add party chat like xbox does and to message anyone etc...
Wat you think?
**PC ONLY** Would you be ok with a paid subscription to ORIGIN if it was buffed?

PAY FOR ORIGIN?!
Are you out of your mind? Even if it was totally reliable, completely fixed, and offered all those extra features that would only make it PC-average. As in, the lowest and most basic STANDARD of what we expect. (Steam is essentially what you're suggesting and it's completely free)
Asking people to pay would be robbery.

Good one.
Wait you are serious?
Let me laugh even louder then.
I would have subbed the game but even if it is almost the same - paying for Origin would make me abandon Bioware, the only company I would never even consider of making an illegal download.

They have to make it 70 times better than steam first

Origin is an inferior service that only convinced me to sign up by offering Mass Effect 2 for $5 or $10 and Battlefield 3 (not long after its release) for $30 at very nearly the same time.
As it turns out I can't stand Mass Effect PC controls for any iteration of the game and my desktop can't quite run Battlefield 3, so basically Origin offers nothing of value to me.
So, no. I would not pay for Origin full stop

Frankly, I think that would really hurt Origin. Unlike xbox gold subs, origin has competition with steam.
Not to mention, what would happen if you bought a physical copy of a game? EA is using Origin as DRM. So if I paid $60 for a game, you're telling me I'd have to pay on top of that for a sub to play it? I just don't see that happening.

No. Origin is a store - you shouldn't have to pay to enter.

definitely NO. Why the hell am I paying for the game then?
