Only way you can go there with a new character is by starting the game afresh. :-)

Otherwise you have to do it via the "epilogue save".

It's weird how here (near Chicago at 9:28 am) it is no longer available, but in other areas it still is.. maybe different xbox servers haven't pulled it back yet?



And this is the first time in the middle of loading a save or creating a new character I get the "Online profile not available to be accessed, there may be a problem with the account" message.



I've gotten the timed out or unable to connect ones before.

I just went through it as a level 18 - No issues, but it makes sense now, why they delayed it. This issue also could have certainly gotten through testing and all that jazz and then caught at the last minute....provided this is the issue that held it back in the first place.



Not being able to unlock your second Spec class is kinda a big deal.



That being said, until we get a conformation of "The DLC is out, everyone!" or "Yeah, Microsoft accidently released the bugged version" I dunno if people should be downloading this, although from other posts, it seems like MS pulled the plug on it...Did they?



Of course, the fact that it was on the XBL marketplace should have meant that it was a safe, bug free (Well, for the most part, at least) DLC....and we shouldn't have to worry about downloading it for fear of a bug like that.



Who knows WHAT the story really is here? I just hope it's the version they delayed to fix.

I've been getting the same message. Everytime I load a game I need to load it twice because of that error. It has only been happening the last day or so.

It is definetely out for the 360, this has been confirmed by multiple sources, yet no one really knows whether the version available for download is the "final" one, or someone screwed up and allowed something to be downloaded that was never intended to be available (which is basically what happened with the initial PC "leak"). Until Bioware officially comments on it (if they do), anything is possible.

So far it looks like someone at MS released this with the patch, instead of just the patch. Bioware people are probably now frantically trying to get the other versions released because of this. Also, I am unsure what time they actually start, but it is only 8:28 am here in Edmonton. They may not even be at work yet.

If this is right, I kind of find some humor in it .  They delay and delay again, now their hand is forced because good old Microsoft screwed it up.  Never thought I would be thanking XBOX live for anything, but thank you.

This morning I loaded just fine (I did not update yet) and then after the console update and after I first tried to download the RtO that I saw available in my menu and it told me it was no longer available then I shrugged and went to play, but now I'm getting that new error message so I wonder if it has anything to do with the console update....

I would love some official confirmation.  I'm not sure if it has been pulled or not, but the download did slow down a lot about 25% in, so maybe I just caught it?

Doesnt steam modify the files? It would probably be a day later if so.

This is the same thing I thought as well.... but then I looked closer it actually says.... 1/14/2009....

Well guys, I downloaded it fine and I'm not getting any error messages, so either I'm lucky or that problem is nothing to do with the DLC and is infact a problem with the online profile system...

That brings me hope actually!  If it was scheduled to be released tomorrow, that makes it very likely that this is the fixed version rather than the buggy one! :happy:

Sorry to dash your hopes....But it actually said 1/14/2009. Not that it means much, they might have just accidently put in the wrong year... Or they could have just changed the date from the December entry they had. But who knows?

All PC versions download the DLC from the same source. You do not pruchase or download the DLC from Steam, but from EA/BioWare - and from within the game itself. The Steam version works just the same as the DVD version in regards to DLC.

Lol a whole 9 months before the game even came out!  And people were complaining that it keeps getting delayed

I figured it out!! Bioware got sick of being flamed by impatient morons and thought "you want bugged DLC then FINE!!" and released this to give us a taste of what things are like when they dont get held back for fixing. Then they make it unavailable and, once we have all apologized, tell us the release date for the fixed DLC.
