Question to the Xbox owners who already have downloaded it: Does the "big" Xbox patch come with it? Or just the one fixing the achievement issue? If it's indeed the big patch, what are the obvious fixes (Warden Commander's armor set, corrupted save games, portrait uploading to website...)?

I really hope my characters profile isnt now corrupt. My back up save game file is from 4 hours ago!

I'm currently downloading this bit of DLC. I've wanted to go back to Ostagar since I first played the game, thought it was a little silly it wasn't an option from launch but I guess that's just smart marketing. Anyway, I'm looking forward to going back to that old ruin and getting revenge upon that damnable ogre that killed King Cainlyn.

I downloaded the RtO today, and when I started DA:O there was somekind of patch, It was quite quick so I think it wasnt the "big one".
     Oh and for the ones who still wait; I live in Finland (GMT +2) and I started downloading about 14.00, so It should be found on xBoxLiveMarketplace.
      New DC:s dont always show on the xBoxLiveMarketplace -website for at least day or 2, so you should  go to your xbox360 and find your game on the marketplace, and then choose all content and by title, then the newest DC should be found:innocent:

Er there was an update, but it downloaded very quickly... I'll check the armour now.

I think AntiChri5 is onto something - it's what I would do it I had power like that, I'd abuse it to make the peons cry.... It's a good thing I have no power.

No the patch is seperate and all the patch was for was to resolve an achievement problem

I downloaded the patch this morning and when I logged on this afternoon RTO was stated as available on the main menu.  I then went to the download screen and promptly downloaded it.

Actually, from what I can tell, nothing really comes with it - There was an update, but only one, and  I think it was the achievement patch, which was stated to come out today.

I was one of the lucky Xbox users, where aside from my portrait never uploading to the site, nothing else really affected me bugwise, though, so I couldn't really say. Sorry.

I'm in thailand and I play DAO on PC.
I found this DLC on the available content too.

But I will not download this DLC. Until they are officially announce.

Just checked.  Still no bonus for the Warden armour, so it wasn't the big patch

um... so far it looks like only xbox 360.. but I'd guess most people only have one version of the game, so how could the 360 owners know if it was out for the ps3?

This kowtow-ing to Microsoft for their console really has to stop. The more people are driven from PC gaming to consoles for the little things like this will mean the less development money that goes into PC games.

I cant believe it,  it really does look like im the only player whos charecters have corrupted because of this RTO release!

Okay - to be specific - when I start Dragon Age up I do NOT get the pop up saying there is new items available for download. If you go to the Game-Add-Ons section of Xbox live and go to DAO then Return to Ostegar is listed as available for 400 points, but when you try to download it (Chicagoland area) it comes up with 800... error saying that that content is no longer available online.

Yeah, no kidding. Poor glendalf... he's been pretty nice about it, though, but I've become so accustomed to patrolling this thread I didn't check the rest of the forum first.

I hope there'll be some information soon on whether the xbox version was a fluke, or whether there's going to be an ETA on the PC version please?



I don't have that information myself, but the good news is that it means that discussing RtO itself is no longer evidence of piracy. That said, anyone who wishes to discuss specific details of RtO should move over to the SPOILERS forum.

It's kind of amusing that we didn't get the big Xbox patch because it was so strongly tied to RtO (according to Bioware), and now we get RtO (even though it's probably not intentional) and not the patch.

Try reloading a previous save with the DLC disabled, force load, level somewhere else and see if they are unlocked. If they are, get them and save. Re-enable the DLC and give it a go! Let's us know how it works?
