Bought it downloaded it, can't play it. Still happier than a pig in slop that it is out. Thanks guys. Even though it didn't have the reduced price like once promised still feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me. Patch fixed more than the achievement issues right?

AKA in the 4 slots for each class where you pick your specializations, it shows them as locked, like you never went and talked to bella to unlock dueling, etc.

I downloaded and beat RtO, took about 30 minutes. I leveled up and didnt notice any problems with specializations, but I'll go back and check.

I've just downloaded the DLC - I found it on Xbox Live before I read any of the chicken-little BS going on in here.



I'd also like to say it's avalible on Live, and Xbox Marketplace exactly where it should be.



I have seen no issues with my specializations (avalibility, skill tree, etc.).



The endless speculation on this forum is getting WAY out of control

The skills still work, but when you go to level up the specializations have the lock symbol over them again and you can't get put any skill points into the ones your character has. Or into any of them for that matter. With them locked you can't select them to begin with.

Have you finished the DLC? I didn't notice it till after. And posting that we're having bugs is not "speculation". It's warning people. Major difference there.

Damn it ! I downloaded it because I thought it came out today. Should´ve checked the forums before downloading it.
Ah well, I guess I won´t start playing my save before some1 from bioware gives it a greenlight or something 

Is the pc version 350mb ? My xbox version was like 143mb or something like that

dang I got the same dang bug to... seriously bioware delays the DLC and when it comes out it still has such an obvious bug as this... Well looks like I have a reason to play again.

I believe 360 users are owed an apology for this one.

I see no chicken little sky is falling stuff. I'm glad you downloaded it - it is only available if you look for it under DA:O in game add ons, which is where it should be, but it is not where it should be in the game itself.



Some people are having problems, some aren't, some could download it and some can't.



People are reporting what they expereinced, that's it.

Just gone through the dlc at level 14

(specific for this issue, Glitched =P)

and didnt have any issues with the specialisations all were unlockable with no problems

Someone else has asked the same question as me and still no answer! Is this specialization glitch only apparent when you level up, or does it remove your specializations on the character info screen aswell?

When I signed in, it did say 'new content available' on the DA main menu - I think someone obviously realised the mistake after this point, and whilst they couldn't pull it completely, they were able to hide it

I'm betting the Specialization glitch is tied to new code added in the patch-- the one that is supposed to be with RtO.



Don't sweat it too much. It'll probably be fixed when RtO is supposed to be released, and the new patch is received.

A note to the "patient" people. I understand that quality is extremely important, but in a business setting you can't get away with "I held off the release over a month for 'quality.'" If that is the case then they should not have released a release date, revoked it without so much as a word, and then let whatever this is happen. Mistakes happen, I understand that, but in a business setting mistakes have dire consequences. This includes, but is not confined to, very angry customers. Speed and quality have to go hand in hand. My trust in a company is shattered after month long delays. That being said I can be a "patient" person and bide my time with other games, But none of this was a question of whether I am bored or not, it was a question of the professionalism of a company based in Canada, you know the one.

If you have not already learned the specialization on a character, they cannot get it. You will have to go and get all the specializations again. If you alrwady have them on XXXX character, that character still has it, but YYYYY character does not, and it appears locked to him.

I can confirm that it does re-lock any specializations (except for the ones you already have active, as far as I can tell). I'm not sure if this only affects a file you play RtO on though.

This would have been much worse had they released a broken DLC. It speaks alot about Bioware's integrity as a company that they were willing to put profit on hold in order to give us a quality product. I would much rather wait a couple weeks and get a working item than get it immediately and have it not work or, worse, ruin my game.
