Geth Spitfire only has 600 RPM(not 800) when ramped up, DPS is 25% less than expected

Thing is, I don't know if they can fix the rate of fire via a weekly balance update.

If they can't make it fire at 800 RPM, then they need to give it a 25% damage increase.

They probably can't change the ROF without a patch is my guess. We just want to make sure they take its actual ROF into account when they do change it with a balance update.

A 10% damage increase, as Derek Hollan said they would be giving it, would cut it if it actually has 800rpm but it certainly won't if it's 600.

The Rate of Fire has been changed for the Falcon, Krysae, Cobra Missle Launcher, and Acolyte through balance changes in the past. It's not a problem at all.

I tried it on a GS (10% geth weapon bonus) to simulate the extra damage its going to get on tuesday.

It wasn't amazing, but I reckon 10% will do it some good... Whether or not it'll be worth using on any character that isn't the GS, is a different matter entirely.

Though isn't that geth weapon damage multiplicative? Would a 10% base damage improvement even do that much for it?

I say spammeth the bumps to ensure this atrocity of an ultra rare recieveth justice!

Stagger immunity.

Yeah, if they'd given it its DPS, its clip size, its weight, its speed penalty, but had the brains to make the wielder immune to staggers it would have been a truly great gun. It actually goes pretty well with the geth soldier, and absolutely destroys gold level infantry with just HVB, EM and phasic.

However, the fact that it deals ****** poor damage unless ramped up means if you get flanked by a hunter, its game over... stagger stagger stagger dead.

BioWare has been oddly conservative with the weapons in Reckoning. I mean, it's the last DLC and the game is year old. Why not make all the new weapons super good (like the Lancer is)? It's not like they have to worry about balancing them against more weapons to come. Let these be the epitome of ME3 MP weapons!

I have never seen a better idea on BSN. That includes my own ideas.
