Geth Spitfire only has 600 RPM(not 800) when ramped up, DPS is 25% less than expected

If we only get the 10% damage increase Derek Hollan mentioned tomorrow and no comment from the developers (even a "we are looking into this issue" would be wonderful) we gonna riot!
Let's start a riot.

We all have omni-forks now.

Do we all also have the ability to add a fire effect to these omni-forks?
Because we shall need it if this madness is not fixed.

Let's set it to cryo. Nothing rustles jimmies like a frozen omni fork in the wrong place.

So even if the gun only receives a roughly 10% damage buff, and no other buffs, it would be worth some experimentation to see if it's alright—especially with an eye to the gun's anti-infantry role.
On paper, it still looks like the minimum buff to make the Geth Spitfire worth using over a similarly leveled N7 Typhoon would be a 35% damage buff with no ROF change. Due to its different ramping mechanics from other ramping weapons, this might not be the case.
It'd still be nice to see it get its 800rpm fire rate, if that's remotely possible. Heck, even if it got no damage buff, the increase to its rate of fire would make it that much more effective against infantry.

I don't know why do you count Typhoon's ramp up but not the Spitfire's? It also has a ramp up before it goes to the 600 RoF but, unlike the Typhoon, it doesn't gain 1.5x damage modifier for that.
And, according to this sheet, is it true that with reload cancel a Revenant 10 has more sustained DPS than Spitfire burst DPS?
Also, bump.

Yep it does less dps than the Revenant, makes a lot sense considering it weighs twice as much, has ramp-up, and a movement speed penaltyLathlaer wrote...

i already like the current one so that buff is more than welcome^^
I do not want a buff, i want a fix. The weapon is broken, devs are looking at SP stats instead of MP.
Most probably they will not be able to fix it unless they release a patch. It's also probably the reason why Biower has not replied yet to this topic.

The weapon does less damage per shot than the GPR does in single-player, and not much more rate of fire.
It's worse in most ways to our MP spitfire, except for the massive clip size.

Yes, yes you should. The lack of dev activity or comment is a bit... concerning, or we are getting the Chakram Launcher...Mendelevosa wrote...

That explains why it was so useless on Insanity.
