And you would expect that if the spitfire was a "theoretical weapon" like the CSMG it wouldn't be able to be modded due to balance change over writes. I experimented boosting the fire rate of the spitfire and it worked perfectly, which isn't usually the case with balance change variables, which get reset to whatever the server thinks they should be upon connection.
(like the CSMG; they extensively altered the CSMG through balance changes prior to retaliation launching, such that it is unrecognisable when compared to what the actual coalesced defines the weapon as; 90 damage per shot, semi-auto burst fire, 10 shots per burst....)
