Given the gatling design, I feel the damage should remain the same but the rpm should be 1200. It should chew through the little folk, but the typhoon should be superior against boss armour.
Geth Spitfire only has 600 RPM(not 800) when ramped up, DPS is 25% less than expected

That file can be overridden by server-side settings. The copy we have is only where the weapon was before it shipped; they could easily have adjusted it (possibly by accident) after shipping it, but before it was actually released for players to play with it.Sulaco_7 wrote...

It's also always possible that the gun has a bug causing it to cap out at 75% of its intended ROF.

The Vulcan cannon may be a bit much considering that weapon shoots 20mm rounds making it basically an autocannon. Even for a weapon whose rounds turn into plasma on impact, that's a high bar. The GAU-19 gatling is what it should be aiming for at the most.
Still, as it is the Spitfire isn't even close to being like the US standard M134 minigun which has an rpm of 2,000-6,000.

So the revenant, typhoon, and now this all have real physical downsides that no other guns produce yet still can't be in a damage class of their own when compared to others guns, bullet for bullet? Less burst dmg and more DPS after a ramp-up, geeze!

Before these numbers and before I got the gun myself, I thought it was not worth it's weaknesses. After I got the gun but before these numbers, I thought it was actively weaker than other guns that take have far less weaknesses. NOW... It's a paperweight.
