I'm not trying to paint this in the wrong light. I am excited for new content as much as the next player.
(Do you feel a "But..." coming on?)

If there are so many bugs and kinks and such that need to be worked out in the original content, why bother with the DLC? It's near a promise of the same service.

Since I didn't find any gamebreaking bug in the original game, I don't see where you come from.

Why bother with the DLC? Because i want to play more. Simple as that.

I guess everyone is experiencing different issues considering the system they use. I play on PC, and I am having horrendous load times the further I go into the game. I read the other day that this was a "known issue", but I didn't see much in the way of a solution. I believe it was said to "Save game, exist, restart your PC, and reload the game." I have done this, but it the "fix" is only until the next time I save.

I think there's different teams working on different things, so why not be excited about the DLC? I'm pretty sure there's also people working on bugs...at least..I imagine. One thing doesn't have to come at a cost for another? Just enjoy! :) Unless you don't want to pay any money.

By the way, I also get the huge loading times after you played for a while, but just saving, and restarting the game (not even the pc too) helps for me. But I think I read that they are working on that issue as well.

That load time thing does not happen on every PC and when it happens, it's also different effect for others (some get it in 1 hour, others get it in 3 etc) so it's probably a hardware issue and it's being worked on I believe.

It is really not fair to say game has so many bugs with that one problem. I haven't encountered any bugs throughout the game save for a few minor ones that had no impact on game play.

In general, programmers fix bugs, while art & design staff create new content. Hence, the two processes are more or less independent of one another.

the load times problem is easily solved by saving, exiting the game and reloading.
