Hello there,
I have some problems which kinda ruin fun in playing this game :(
Well the thing is that I have problem with looting and completeing quests.
I am not getting loot at all. I can loot monsters only if I save and then load (then loot starts to appear and *shine*) which is very annyoing to do every sec after fighting. Same thing is happening with these quests marks (white arrows) when some cut-scene should be played or quest is done(aswell with codexs) it won't work even after waiting and waiting I must again save and then load to have it completed. Anyone have same problems? Is it problem maybe because of this new patch or what? How to fix that? Thanks for help

I've had the same experience, esp late in the game. I've heard it is a cache overload problem or something, and I'm not sure if it is ever going to be addressed. What I can tell you is, you don't have to save and reload: it is enough that you wait some time there (game unpaused), ranging 1 minute to 2 and a half, and the loot will appear and the quests will update.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for answer but I did that aswell, knew to happen that needed some time for loot to appear but after this patch it is much worse o.O believe me!! Hmm, well I hope they are going to fix that. It is abit silly to; instead of playing and enjoying game you must loose time for waiting silly loot to show up and now that happens with quests and codexs aswell >.<... oh great... :( who knows how many good loot and money I missed lol...

I actually have a list of favourite "loot-wait" activities:

1. make a bacon sarnie

2. eat said sarnie

3. read some lore on the DA Wiki

4. FailBook (which you might know as facebook)

5. cup of tea!

6. pester some of my roommates (well, more like corridor mates) about how awesome DA:O is

7. lurk these very forums

8. text someone at random

9. bio break

10. brainstorm about stuff

I have found that loot drops tend to get really slow after the game has been running for a few hours. A restart usually gets them back to a much more manageable time lag for a while.
