a argue in the human threat elf's like animal threat made me wander.

if the elven people would rebel agains there human overlords who would win?

what i like you to do is writte a battleplan of what you would do if you had to lead either the elven people or human's in a war for elven freedom or supression..

i would get my most loyalist allies to become lover's of the human leader's.
i would hire people to infeltrade the human armies i would bride the loyalty of many soldiers and gaurd i would gather allies with the dwarf's and circle of magi and naturaly silence anyone who posses a threat to my preparations.
i would store armor and weapons all across the world train everyone in the art of warfare in secret again silence anyone who would discover.
then when where ready after years of preparing i would order all my lover agents to assasinate the human leader's at the same time posion all troops not loyal to me i would quikly arm all troops and order a all out slaughter of all human man wemon and childeren. i would wage a hit and run war for years killing as many humans as possebol.
after enought blood has bin shed i send a messege to the remaining human leader's offering a mutal peace with full regoneccions for a elven nation or threaten with a war of exstincion where only human or elvenkind would survive.

what would you do?

There is a reason that the humans are the overlords.

Edit: And the reason is Cammen.

I, for one, welcome our new human overlords.

Yep. And, to quote Sten, when regarding the elves and special powers:

"Being easily conquered does not constitute a "power".

you say that they would win but you dont say how claiming a victory isnt as easy as that.
if all we had to say i win then we would already have wiped out terrorisem.

The game lore makes it plain that the elves are divided and outnumbered by quite a lot. Masadas and Warsaw Ghetto Uprisings make for great stories, but are not so hot to live through.

Claiming a victory?

Alienages, wiping of their entire civlization, persecution and total dominion DOESN'T sound like overwhelming victory to you?

It's not a matter of winning against the elves, the war is already won.

I think a rebellion would just make matters worse. In my opinion, the humans just need to return the Dales back to the elves. Why?

a)No more Alienage ghettoes, high criminality rates, and oppression of the elven people.

b)The elves would start restoring their civilization, and maybe flourish once again.

c)They can prove to be of more help in later blights. An organized army sure is better than a bunch of hunters, right?

The elves have superior archers, are good trackers in the woods, know to use their agility. In a war they could wage guerrilla warfare and take a very heavy tool on your forces, with an appropriate general they would be unbeatable. I would ambush my enemy, strike him down relentlessly with small forces until he is weary, and then I would gather my full army and I would crush him!

Do remember, it took an exalted march ( Aka Orlais, Antiva, Anderfels and Nivarra ) to bring the Dales down

There's the religious side... The Chantry and their Exalted Marches...

No way the Chantry would accept the Elves with their gods.

If the elves and qunari would join forces, then all of Thedas would fall to their power.

First thing you're going to need are allies. The Qunari and Chantry are out, because they will only help you if you convert to their religion.

If the Elves couldn't stop the Humans when they had Arlathan or the Dales why would they be able to stop them now?
