How about 250,000$ for a garanteed UR weapon and 150,000$ for a garanteed UR character? Once you maxed out your UR characters (every appearance options unlocked), a warning show up in the pack description informing you that you've already unlocked every appearance options for them. (they could be bought for garanteed experience bonus)

The weapon pack would contain only one UR weapon and will become unavailable to you (stop showing up in the store ) once you've maxed all of your N7 weapons.

500.000 - guaranteed 1 UR nothing else in the pack... you want consumables/rares/gear/chars etc buy other packs... this would be solution for those with "almost maxed manifest" having a life i think...

16 URs, and +5 more when promotionals flip over. Average of 1 UR per 1 million spent, if you are lucky (I'm not). This means you'll need 21,000,000 credits, spent _solely_ on PSPs, RPs or APs, depending upon which god you worship.

Assuming perfect play and extraction, and zero use of consumables, and a glittering career spent solely playing gold, you are looking at around 2620 games played before you max your URs.

In reality, factoring in the surprisingly high 42% fail rate from the recent data sheet, and a JEP every third game for real life consumption, and you're looking at well over 4000 gold attempts to max your manifest. How on God's green earth can this be seen as anything other than perverse?

So ... Consider this signed. (let me know if my maths is wayward, but I don't think it is...)

I'd welcome a guaranteed UR pack, I hate this whole "chance" thing, it bugs the f**k out of me. I agree that it would have to be expensive BUT comparable to what we've currently got in the MP store.

The only problem I see is that BioWare and EA have no incentive to produce these packs, seeing as they would almost certainly lose out on real cash sales.

Who knows though? They might surprise us but until overall player numbers and more importantly paying customers stop logging on, don't hold your breath.

I like this except add common consumable drops in too just for fun.

I think this might be a bad idea, cause every single PUG will end up running out of equipment while saving up for these.

I am not at the UR grind yet but I think 1 million for 1 definite UR that sounds fair.

OP is dumb. Really. They are ULTRA RARE weapons. They wouldn't be ultra rare if you got one every time you spent credits! Either put some time in to maxing your manifest (like most of us), or shut up crying. Bioware have already made it a million times easier for you. I for one didn't have over powered characters to help me max my manifest.

Getting one of the UR from a PSP that already have a better chance for UR is uncommon. Spending two/three/four/five/whateverthebestpropositionis times the price of a PSP just to get one UR will still take you some time to save up your money, thus preventing UR from becoming "uncommon".

If it was possible to have a pack work 350,000-500,000 credits or around 800 points, that only became availie once all fares have been maxed in your manifest, and that gave only that one card would be the way to go. No consumables, nothing else in the pack might make the price too high for some, and it would still take quite a bit of work to save up the cash for it.

People asking for these types of packs want to play the game for fun and not have to worry about going to the store to get better stuff. I personally would be happy if they eliminated ops packs, missiles, medi-gel, and thermal clips packs from the store and just had a limit on the number we can carry into battle, rather than having a pool to pull from. I find myself not being able to play the way I want to, having to conserve consumables, because I need them for when I play higher than silver. And when trying to max my manifest, and do the challenges, 1 jumbo pack cost slightly more than 1 silver match, so any consumables used on silver and below is a net loss of resources.

Another solution would be to scale up the payout to around 20,000 for bronze and 40,000 for silver. Gold and platinum are good for the most part as you can buy jumbos to replace the consumables lost fairly easily while still saving credits to buy specter and PSPs.

A UR costs around 700k in PSPs, 1M in SPs. 500k in a pack with nothing but the UR looks ok to me. That would force to buy standard packs to get some consumables. Hypotheses like 300k with one Rare bundled are just ridiculous.

Not many of the UR's are worth it to be honest. If there was a Lancer / Hurricane pack maybe. Imagine saving 500k and getting an Eagle or Crusader...............

300k people who maxed all rares(weapons, characters, gear) should be able to buy it

Edit: This should have been done at the beginning of the game. After every rare unlock you dont have anything but URs to unlock so an UR pack should be introduced to ME3

This is the perfect solution, only have it available to people with only UR's left to unlock(not including consumables obviously). It means people who have hit the unlock wall have something substantial to look forward to in each pack and they don't have all their effort trivialized by newbies getting their UR's in a fraction of the time.

No! this would be rediculous! Their ultra rare for a reason and it would add no point to the game when people can just walk around with a volus and get credits handed to them

I like this and if you buy the pack needing consumables you only get consumables.

I'm not sure a UR pack would spark greater interest in playing MP, nor would it stem the inevitable departure from this game. Just look at all the posts of people looking for others to play with. I'm coming to the realization that my interest in playing is waning faster than my manifest is getting filled. I can't believe I am alone in this. I just wish the UR drop rate percentage would be increased for those of us that have stuck around this long.
:)

This too, I just wished your N7 rank determined how well your UR drop is

I'm totally for an UR pack, tough the cost should be resonable, perhaps 200k?

Spent 2.5 mil on psp's today and recieved 0 UR. I would rather have 5 UR for that price.   Played for over 600hr and have 90 UR left.

Honestly, a pack with 1 UR, 1 Rare, and three consumables would be the best thing ever... 300,000 Cr and you've got a deal. No... really... that's 4 gold games or a little over 2 platinums... or you know, 9 Silvers or like 17 bronze games. IS THAT NOT REASONABLE?!?

But for real, final DLC is out, Bioware, listen to the fans and bring this in before multiplayer dies out. I'm on board and would probably be back on for ages if it happened, so would people I know who have all but left the multiplayer.

They don't even have to include a rare. they really need to add this cuz it's bad enough I get a UR once in a blue moon but I still haven't even gotten the punisher, venom, or lancer :(

Only if they're around the cost of 10 million credits, and it's just one UR in that pack and nothing else.

They are Ultra Rare for a reason and... SINCERELY if you're not playing just for fun regardless of the state of your manifest, you're a bad and should definitely reconsider your gaming habits because it might be turning into an additiction
