800k for a 3 pack. 1 UR weapon, 5 of either medi/ops/missiles/thermals and 1 level 3 consumable. I would happily play all levels for these.

Only if they're around the cost of 10 million credits, and it's just one UR in that pack and nothing else.

They are Ultra Rare for a reason and... SINCERELY if you're not playing just for fun regardless of the state of your manifest, you're a bad and should definitely reconsider your gaming habits because it might be turning into an additiction

sure thing, but, bioware are counting on this being an addiction to keep theplayerbase strong. Oh, and needing 160 of them hardly makes them feel ultra rare. By that argument, I shouldn't have had my collector be the first character I maxed the unlocks for in reckoning because he is, you know, Ultra Rare.

if bioware released the pack percentages then maybe I might have more fun as I continually open level IV ammo.

it is a good job we all have the same definition of fun!

I'd welcome a guaranteed UR pack, I hate this whole "chance" thing, it bugs the f**k out of me. I agree that it would have to be expensive BUT comparable to what we've currently got in the MP store.

The only problem I see is that BioWare and EA have no incentive to produce these packs, seeing as they would almost certainly lose out on real cash sales.

Who knows though? They might surprise us but until overall player numbers and more importantly paying customers stop logging on, don't hold your breath.

The incentive is keep people playing and having a positive experience in this game so we can evangalise the next one. I have noticed in the past three months that ME3 never even makes into the Xbox top 20 most played games. Halo reach does. So it is in their interests to keep us playing so that we can support the more recent players who have just picked up the game. (Trilogy)

I would welcome a pack that has something like a 33% chance for an ultra rare weapon. A 100% chance is just silly and the price for such a pack would be ridiculous.

But the fact that I spend several millions of credits and unlocked all the Reckoning stuff but not even ONE new UR weapon is more than frustrating :( The gear drop rate is somehow odd as well but not even close as frustrating as the UR weapon drop rate.

I think I gonna stop playing ME3 mp as soon I finished the Mass Effect Challenge. But I am not even sure about that one. Doing 200 waves with all those characters I don't want to play is just boring. Its not a challenge. It is forcing people to play the game in the most boring way possible.

I don’t think this is 100% fair; for a lot of people, part
of the “fun” is being the best you can possibly be in a game, and if in your
mind that includes a specific build/weapon, then your enjoyment can be
impacted. I’m not saying it’s the best view to have of the game, but I’ll use
myself as an example:

I really like playing the Collector adept, and I prefer to
do so with the CSMG, which I only have at II. I’d have a lot more fun with it
at a higher level, because it would be a much more effective weapon. Do I enjoy
the game as is? Sure. Would I enjoy it more if I had a CSMG? I think so, yeah.

For this reason, I’d advocate a UR pack as well; it would
provide people with something tangible to work towards, instead of how it is
now which is, “I have to save up credits to see if I’ll get all rare ammo or
possibly an UR upgrade.” One of the guys on BSN (Neferius, I think) had a 12
million credit cold streak (with no URs), and that’s just not fun, nor is it
particularly fair. A UR pack would help alleviate this.

Uh, I shudder....

That's not even remotely close to how much time I invested. I maxed out in August last year and was maxed ever since.
So you're clearly not playing ALL DAY EVERY DAY, idiot.

Also, it takes like 700 hours average to max a manifest, so you're still on schedule, idiot.

Well consider me an outlier then, been playing since the BF3 promo demo days, and still have an extremely lack luster UR collection.

Ah, there he is!

I just used you as an example in my above post; your cold
streak was unreal.
