[FTA Talisman]

Ok so I've read that there is a pretty common glitch with Specializations related to Return to Ostagar DLC, I myself have experienced this. I previously had all of the specializations unlocked. What happens if I play through a character and get to the point where I unlock a specialization? Will it actually unlock for my character or do I have to wait for the Microsoft servers to "catch up", as someone else put it.

My $400 points came from the RtO page... so yeah, I paid for it through their site, through their DLC page.

Ya, I clicked the PC link from the RtO page and it sent me to a page to purchase 400 points. I thought the DLC was ready so I bought the points. No dlc.

I hate to get technical (and pull just one person out, as well), but you didn't buy anything.  You exchanged one medium of currency for another medium of currency.  The fact that it's intended to buy something is irrelevant - that's like handing someone $5, getting 5 euros, and claiming that since you have 5 euros you've already bought a nearby hat.

There is no way I'll last staying up any longer...waiting....impatiently for RtO...00.30am here in Scotland, and I've got school tomorrow....God it sucks...but I'm not truly complaining about the delay...I'm just an impatent person haha...and I am so very eager to play the new DLC

I disagree. When you buy it through their PC DLC RtO page, it is like getting a GIFT CARD for that SPECIFIC item, i.e. you have purchased it and are waiting for it to come into stock, like a rain check.

I would wager that, after two missed dates and over two weeks of delays, they're burning the midnight oil to get it out as promised. I'm sure no one at Bioware would want to delay this thing any farther than it already has been.

I don't think the guys at Bioware came in this morning expecting to release RtO today. That it is taking a bit longer then they thought it might earlier today isn't too surprising.

I can assure you that the DLC is indeed that great and adds quite a nice feeling to the story and I don't think it screws anything on the PC!

So as you see, it is all a matter of opinion...

While playing Dragon Age I got a message that said "Connection to the server was lost" and I got excited and thought the servers were down and they were making RtO available. Turns out it was just my network adapter crapping out. -.-



Since it's past the business day, I've pretty much written off RtO on the PC today.

A word on the technical issues some people are having, including the specialization issue. This appears to be due to the achievements not yet propagated into Xbox Live. Assuming you accepted the title update this morning (which you must have to play RtO) this will right itself once they are propagated. We appreciate your patience.

This is only for the 360 and will not affect the PC version once it is available.
