I disagree. When you buy it through their PC DLC RtO page, it is like getting a GIFT CARD for that SPECIFIC item, i.e. you have purchased it and are waiting for it to come into stock, like a rain check.

Ah, giftcards.  Why did I not think of those for my analogy; they work much better.

It's a giftcard, yes.  Which entitles you to nothing but the ability to purchase things in their store.  Claiming entitlement for having points is silly; you simply have money for their store, no matter what your plans are for it.  You cannot claim injuried custumer on the basis of a giftcard and the inability to purchase what you want to purchase at that exact time.

Nobody claimed injured customer, I sure didnt.

I have no technical basis for saying I already bought the game but from a simple logical no BS sort of way my intent on buying it is pretty damn clear when I specifically purchase 400 points for the DLC.

Again I should clarify I dont mind waiting but I will certainly argue I alrdy paid for the game in the logic that they have 400 points and their money and its irrelevant which game, dlc, etc I purchase since thats not the companies primary goal to begin with.

STK Prime, it's a no spoiler forum, but you should have a special save you can load that will put you just before the last level.

Sorry, I didn't know if I was spoiling it or not.

Well, Warden's Keep takes 15 minutes and they boasted about 2-3 hours there as well.

To which again, I say...

I clicked the RtO page.
It allowed me to purchase through that page, so the implied and advertised purpose was to purchase that particular item.
This occured on the day it was supposed to release. i.e., in good faith, as advertised, I purchased the item I wanted in the amount it was listed for.
I did not receive said item. Then they announce the delay.

Imagine, just for kicks, you went to Amazon.com and bought a Kindle. You went through the entire purchase, and they said... wait, now that we have your money, it will be delayed for 10 weeks. However, to keep the order, we cannot issue you a refund without you having to compete with a limited stock.

Or, more personally to me... last March when Catalyst offered their Limited Edition SR4A book... and they took the money from the account, and have not shipped any of them to their customers in almost a YEAR. I discuss that one in the comic. Check it out.

The fact remains, I purchased it from the page itself that was advertised, on the day it was. Now, I am not complaining that I have to wait, nor am I that upset about it. However, to blindly and falsely lay out there to people that they have not bought something so they are not entitled is trollish in a forum. IMHO, I purchased it, I am entitled, and surely when it releases, I will download it.

Unless Bioware is suddenly offering full refunds on points in accounts?

I thought not.

Wow, at my last post the highest page I could access was page 22, now it's jumped to page 29, and when I refreshed it told me the site was experiencing severe load.

Awesome.

I mean I get that delays happen, but it'd be nice to know whats up

I'd like to point out that the DLC isn't all that great and it screws your specialisations - so ps3 and pc players dont worry so much (you're not missing out on much)

The specialization screw-up might be because of the patch and not the DLC. Still to confirm.

Perhaps they still plan on releasing it tonight? People do work overtime in Canada I believe.

At the rate there going I dont expect anything for a day or so, and while DA is a great game, I wont buy another BioWare product, the advertising is misleading the customerservice is poor to say the least, it not like they did not know there was going to be a masive grab for rto and yet they still failed to handle it smoothly.

Just a tired and frustrated former customers 2cents worth

I read this on a website

According to BioWare, "Fans can now get the 360 version of Return to
Ostagar. The PC version will be available by tomorrow morning and the
PS3 version will be available at a later date."

Yeah the forum is all messed up not loading the threads properly or at all. It's a mess they are obviously trying to do something on the site or the forum is overloaded. One of the two.

Bioware folks, any update on the PC version? I’ve been checking the DLC page but nothing but my points show up thus far, I can’t wait to see RTO pop up! Thanks for any info you’re able to provide!

FYI: if you're not Bioware and you make less than 100k a year please don’t reply with your negative opinions as to why, no one is interested in what you have to say.

Whats cute is that you think the average Bioware employee makes 100k... let alone the community managers.

Sorry I think you misunderstood my comment which is easily done without further elaboration though the original post was meant to be without an explanation.
What I meant by the remark was that I’ve read the ranting of various people on these forums and amazed by the lack of business acumen many folks have on these forums; therefore if you're not Bioware or make less than I do I'm not interested in negative rantings. Call me arrogant, i'm ok with that =)
