Hmmm.... anyone notice how the "...will be out later today on PC" has been deleted from the topic title? *sad panda*

Hi folks
Return to Ostagar is now unexpectedly available for the Xbox 360. We will be making the PC version available later today and will have the PS3 version available later.
Please DO NOT discuss the story of Return to OStagar in thsi forum. Please use the Official Campaign Quests and Storyline forum here to discuss the story: http://social.biowar...tegory/47/index
The OP still says "later today..." even though the title is changed...

Ooooh. Hold on here. Hey guys, I think I know why we're getting the 80153003 B.S.. On the Xbox Live website, it says that the content was released on the 14th. I've got 8:37 PM, January 13th local time, so I'm guessing whoever else is getting this error is probably still too early.

If it isn't coming out today, fine. You will deal with some grousing from people who have once again seen the release pushed further back, for 40 minutes of new content.
But at least tell us something. Ominously removing "and for the PC!" from the subject line of the release post really doesn't count.

Having Duncan live, unless executed incredibly well, is just fan service.
Agreed. I honestly don't think Duncan surviving would serve the story at all. Having a seasoned and experienced Warden would destroy the whole "Two fresh faced Grey Wardens finding their path in a wartorn world, struggling against an impending blight" storyline.
It doesn't mean you can't have him as a mentor. I threw it out there b/c even Bioware denies his death in an interview with ign.

I still plan on playing RtO when it comes out but I definitely won't be able to enjoy as much as I would have after the first delay... or second delay. :/

Just read on IGN website that the PC version will not be out until the morning and PS3 at a later date,
that's from Bioware. Here's the link to IGN article

This is just ridiculous, with the MS cert process the PC version should be out 2 weeks early

Sad to say although Bioware's skill is truly great at crafting excellent games, their communication skills have a little to be desired. Earlier we were told that the PC dlc for RTO was on its way, we wait and wait, then only to find that rather post an update the title of the thread is changed. I am not one to complain usually, but the lack of communication isn't shining a good light on your company. A simple update to say that the PC dlc was going to be delayed would have been all that was needed. *sigh*

two delays, seriously. WTG guys, i'm usually very patient on this, but first delay on supposed day of release, next delay on surprise day of release. fantastic work.

Yep. Time for everyone to go home.
I have no doubt Bioware did their best to get the PC version out today, but I guess it just wasn't realistic. Microsoft ballsed up and launched the DLC early and Bioware had to play catch-up. Another release time-frame pushed back... I guess we should probably come to expect this.
