I'm disappointed as well that it is not out, but I'm not angry at Bioware for the simple reason I don't think they ever had plans of releasing the DLC yet. It was the unexpected launch from MS today that caused all this mess.

Ah - so that's what happened, hmm?  Puts things into a new perspective for me... now I feel bad for being mad at Bioware. :(

Actually I think it might be a failure on the website end because it keeps appearing and disappearing (The PC version coming today).

That's because when the site is in this bad of state, sometimes it is serving you cached content.

The site issues itself might also be affecting the Bioware guys trying to actually get a post up.

Why do they keep promising release dates they can't meet?

i find this community puzzling. no matter what happens, there's always something wrong... so what if the 360 dewds gets it before us? don't you realize that this decreases the Delay? why do you whine?

i'm antarctican and the culture of humanity puzzles me.

I just wanted to be cool too!!!

Two release date push backs, the last resulting in an indefinite postponement, a leak of the PC version which indicated RtO was ready weeks ago, thread locks, posts deleted, people banned, rumours of bugs, rumours of Bioware adding new content, Microsoft dropping the ball and releasing the XBOX DLC early, people paying for content they can't download, and now IGN has information before the official forums on what's going on.

Well...

...I honestly don't know what to say. On the bright side of things, it couldn't get any worse.

Probably in the interest of customer service.

Read: Troll Patrol. Keep the squeaky wheels of the forums greased. Attempt to appease the people that complain for 200 pages.

Just a thought.

Having Duncan live, unless executed incredibly well, is just fan service.

Agreed. I honestly don't think Duncan surviving would serve the story at all. Having a seasoned and experienced Warden would destroy the whole "Two fresh faced Grey Wardens finding their path in a wartorn world, struggling against an impending blight" storyline.

It doesn't mean you can't have him as a mentor. I threw it out there b/c even Bioware denies his death in an interview with ign.

I wouldn't be against Duncan returning in further expansions or even sequels, but I think if he were brought in pre-archdemon, it would detract from the struggle of the lone Wardens

He edited the post about 20 mins ago... meaning.. it's delayed for pc yet again? Who knows...

HE did not--I just cleared the cache, relogged on and  refreshed and it STILL says PC AVAILABLE LATER TODAY. Just the heading has change.

It's simple, MS wanted exclusivity and is probably all sour that they aren't publishing mass effect 2.

Um..they didn't set a release date this time, genius. Microsoft released the Xbox version early.

Wow, You people honestly freak out over an hours worth of gameplay? You freak out over a little teeny thing such as a DLC?? Honestly people? Do you not even have a sembelance of a life?? I love video games and I love Dragon Age. However, I WILL NOT freak out over something as absurd as DLC. Go outside or go read a book. It will be released when it is FREAKING RELEASED.

Thank You.

/rant

That's some condescending stuff. How about some people just think Bioware needs to get a clue.
Failed release dates. Leaked DLC.
It can't be pretty for them right now.
That said, you can have a life, and even read a book, and still long for the DLC before you get ME2 and never give this game another look, like some of us will.

Funny how "pc available later" has been removed from the thread. More empty promises.
