This happens with almost everything anymore especially in the software world. Setting release dates is just a head ache and they are idiots for doing that I'll agree.
Then rushing a product to meet that release date would be far more disastrous than waiting for a stable product. Trust me, no one will remember the wait when they get the new content, they will remember their gaming experience.
Besides, I only have one post, it can't be wrong.

I keep hearing this from people who aren't affiliated with EA/bioware or Microsoft. Is there any verification on this?

Still no word from BioWare. Poor bastards are all probably at the pub.
Repeating what? I keep getting "Invalid Topic..."

i'm no fanboy. i like the game's all. you sound obsessed and angsty. i haven't done ANYTHING to you and you just jumped at me. stop being a ****ing **** at me, leave me alone and have a ragefit elsewhere than my face. i can relate to being angry about bad service. but as far as i've understood, this one was out of their hands both times. who wants a gamebreaker? so they delayed to fix it. now MS ****ed everything up and that got many people angry. many of those, at the wrong folks, like half this place flaming Bioware, and you suddently developing a cincere hate for me.Dahelia wrote...

it is an admirable action to rethink ones wording before you utter them. it is a healthy way of thinking you've got there. if only the user who went on a full offensive against me for stating my confusion about the childishness of this community had done so too.Dragon Age1103 wrote...

hmm, yeah i can see how that disproves that this whole forum is one big bowl of baww and whine? it's what this forum consists of mostly. that can't be denied. and in context with all this bawwing.i have a hard time understanding the "new" gaming culture where even unexpected (but heavili whined whined about being delayed earlier) releases is being bawwed about.Dahelia wrote...

I am getting fed up....this is what I mean. They ignore us because they prefer to treat us as morons and children.
This is coming from someone who says they live in Antarctia....sorry...
and that truly makes me feel like i've been living on antarctica.
Well I don't think you can be so quick to judge considering not everyone has the same level of self-control. Plus I mean for a lot of us this is a very important game that we love, a lot. One of the best so naturally we might get a little worked up & say something stupid. I agree that our crowd is a little childish in that it should stop after a few pages. I just pause before I type anything so my emotions don't get the best of me. lol.
i do love this game too, but i've got some patience for it. i don't see the point of ripping up Bioware for delays or release day intervals. i honestly don't care as long as i get it some day. and i would whole heartedly support Bioware of they reprimanded us (if they could... sadly they can't) because it's turned into a regular baboon city where everyone throws around blame without t´knowing the full details of the hows and whys.... reminds me of politics.
the world of gaming has left reason and well-mannered sportsmanship gaming for masses of raving, uninformed gamer-rednecks. we're not people who share a hobby anymore, we're junkies out for a fix, no matter the costs (or the level of insane behavior).
Two damn delays with barely an word. I've been the only one with the galls to jump down their throat because I don't have a fear of being banned, I am sick and tired of the random bull****....and they ignoring us for hours upon hours. It gets annoying. Some people, like you fanboys, don't seem to understand. This is turning out to be like Aion, where you got the people who actually have brains and are getting sick and tired of something and those who are the fanboys and **** at us. You people are by far WORSE than anyone else here. You cause the flaming, you say something and you begin the flamming all over again.
i can express my dissappointment in lousy behavior just as much as you can display lousy behavior. take your Ego-justifications elsewhere. and stop attacking me. i'm trying to have a good time with fellow communitymembers.
your anger is justified, but not at me or bioware. call up MS, find out what's going on, get some details and THEN... if it turns out everything is my fault i will accept a shower in **** and ass from you and apologuize for ruining your game and being an Antarctican or whatever you believe i've done wrong. untill then, **** off and get off my back ****. cheers and g'daye.
Wow, I must of really pissed you off...Lol! For one, I've got Dragon Age; Origins on the PC...also...I have a right to be angry with someone like you because you are sitting here trying to justify Bioware like a little fanboy. You cause the flame wars, people like you are the reason why people here get so angry. You people are worse than anyone else on the forums including the PC/XBOX360/PS3 Elitists. Also, no one lives in Antarctica except those who do researches for a few months and the Penguins...so how are the Penguins?

Anyway, I can't wait for this to hit PS3. I'm holding off completing my latest playthrough so I can do this quest first. I just booted up the game to check the in-game store and it's not up yet. Hopefully we'll get it tomorrow. I find all the people here crying a rive HILLARIOUS. Seriiously, what a joke. This DLC last weheard was delayed indeffinitely, now we tgeword that it's forthcoming vvery soon and you're all crying and maoning that it's not availible yet less than a day of it being announced that it's coming......wow......rediculous.
Anyway, Thanks Bioware....please get this up on PSN ASAP......really looking forward to the expansion as well. Cheers.

Well, the way it was initially phrased, that the xbox 360 version was "unexpectedly released" implies that someone screwed up and pushed it early, hence the bugs dealing with specializations. Now I would guess they are rushing to resolve that issue or other bugs with the pc release, or in some other way get it ready.

Is this the first time you guys have bought a video game and visited forums for the game? You act surprised about all this and are about in mutiny of disgust over it.

Not a bad 'one post'
I've come to expect delays, buggy products on release, etc. from gaming. I just don't like how this keeps getting me excited and then sticking a giant pin in it. I thought they would've learned the second time that release dates = BAD on this cursed DLC. I wouldn't have really been mad if it came out next week or the week after. Probably would've been ok if they left it up on Xbox Live and the PC folks had to wait a few days.
I am disappointed now because I believed it actually would come out today. That belief shouldn't have been encouraged. It's like someone sticks a popsicle in front of your face and keeps taking it away before you can lick it. Bonus frustration if you already paid for it
It's not a life altering disappointment. I've got Torchlight to keep me company for awhile. I'm definitely not buying any DLC or expansions in advance again though...
