IGN says Bioware says... ". The PC version will be available by tomorrow morning ..."

Everywhere else says "..later today..."



I see the top post was edited recently, but aside from the title change removing the reference to the PC version being out later today, the post content itself still says later today.

hmm, yeah i can see how that disproves that this whole forum is one big bowl of baww and whine? it's what this forum consists of mostly. that can't be denied. and in context with all this bawwing.i have a hard time understanding the "new" gaming culture where even unexpected (but heavili whined whined about being delayed earlier) releases is being bawwed about.

   Well I don't think you can be so quick to judge considering not everyone has the same level of self-control. Plus I mean for  a lot of us this is a very important game that we love, a lot. One of the best so naturally we might get a little worked up & say something stupid. I agree that our crowd is a little childish in that it should stop after a few pages. I just pause before I type anything so my emotions don't get the best of me. lol.

it is an admirable action to rethink ones wording before you utter them. it is a healthy way of thinking you've got there. if only the user who went on a full offensive against me for stating my confusion about the childishness of this community had done so too.
i do love this game too, but i've got some patience for it. i don't see the point of ripping up Bioware for delays or release day intervals. i honestly don't care as long as i get it some day. and i would whole heartedly support Bioware of they reprimanded us (if they could... sadly they can't) because it's turned into a regular baboon city where everyone throws around blame without t´knowing the full details of the hows and whys.... reminds me of politics.

the world of gaming has left reason and well-mannered sportsmanship gaming for masses of raving, uninformed gamer-rednecks. we're not people who share a hobby anymore, we're junkies out for a fix, no matter the costs (or the level of insane behavior).

Two damn delays with barely an word. I've been the only one with the galls to jump down their throat because I don't have a fear of being banned, I am sick and tired of the random bull****....and they ignoring us for hours upon hours. It gets annoying. Some people, like you fanboys, don't seem to understand. This is turning out to be like Aion, where you got the people who actually have brains and are getting sick and tired of something and those who are the fanboys and **** at us. You people are by far WORSE than anyone else here. You cause the flaming, you say something and you begin the flamming all over again.

i'm no fanboy. i like the game's all. you sound obsessed and angsty. i haven't done ANYTHING to you and you just jumped at me. stop being a ****ing **** at me, leave me alone and have a ragefit elsewhere than my face. i can relate to being angry about bad service. but as far as i've understood, this one was out of their hands both times. who wants a gamebreaker? so they delayed to fix it. now MS ****ed everything up and that got many people angry. many of those, at the wrong folks, like half this place flaming Bioware, and you suddently developing a cincere hate for me.

i can express my dissappointment in lousy behavior just as much as you can display lousy behavior. take your Ego-justifications elsewhere. and stop attacking me. i'm trying to have a good time with fellow communitymembers.

your anger is justified, but not at me or bioware. call up MS, find out what's going on, get some details and THEN... if it turns out everything is my fault i will accept a shower in **** and ass from you and apologuize for ruining your game and being an Antarctican or whatever you believe i've done wrong. untill then, **** off and get off my back ****. cheers and g'daye.

Wow, I must of really pissed you off...Lol! For one, I've got Dragon Age; Origins on the PC...also...I have a right to be angry with someone like you because you are sitting here trying to justify Bioware like a little fanboy. You cause the flame wars, people like you are the reason why people here get so angry. You people are worse than anyone else on the forums including the PC/XBOX360/PS3 Elitists. Also, no one lives in Antarctica except those who do researches for a few months and the Penguins...so how are the Penguins?

i'm not defending anything. i'm just advising people to be sure where their anger should be directed... i was just about ready to go "WHAT THE H*** BIOWARE!?" when someone turned up and said something about MS pushing it out early. then i sat down and wondered why this whole forum was so cluttered with childish behavior and decided to word my wondering. a big mistake it seems because now i'me a stupid fanboy. then i had to take a mudfall from you, and as soon as i take up the same tone as you i'm suddently the one who's overreacting here.
i am aware that no one but few researchers lie here. and i have found out that the penguins are soundly asleep in a big huddle 200 Miles inland guarding their eggs from the winter cold.

could we break this up now? or do you have more problems with me? i'd like to be able to speak with you on friendly terms if we ever meet again so we should break this argument... the more i think of it, the more pointless it seems.

As for the pubs in Canada... obviously an amature response to what really is south and north of the border. No offense but living in a border town my whole life alcohol (exact beer / exact whisky) is like water in the US. Bud in Canada is not Bud in the States and the same goes for many other alcohols.

We don't know exactly. But so far it hasn't been released for the pc and the xbox version from what i hear has been pulled. Tis a bad day!!

Apparently, all of the above.  Released for xBox, had bugs, and seems to have been pull from xBox live right now.  As for PC, it seems to have been delayed and is said to be out by tomorrow morning

dahelia, you seriously need to relax. microsoft forced bioware's hand and you know it. we're all upset we can't get rto, but that does not excuse how YOU are acting. anyone who is not in 100% agreement with you is either a jerk or a fanboi to you because not everyone shares your attitude. and yes, it is an attitiude. you attack and insult all who disagree with you.

It showed up early this morning on Xbox Live.  Probably some kind of technical error since the date listed on it was 1/14/09.  Some people bought and downloaded it for 360 and reported bugs.  Now it seems to be gone on Xbox Live.  It was also promised for PC later in the day but that didn't happen either.

So pc users have been waiting all day for PC release, x-box 360 download seems to be pulled now, and ps3 is to be released at a later date yo be announced. That about sums it up and yes MS stepped on their craking and flipped the switch before checking with Bioware.

I think you seriously need to butt out and shut up. I am sick and tired of people thinking they need to be high and mighty. Back off...you haven't even seen me mad. It has been hours since we last heard from Bioware...and Microsoft can't force anyone to do anything....they probably released it on accident like they did the LAST time. So, please, get off the horse of yours and learn when to not speak unless spoken to.

Honestly everyone, this DLC is not worth fretting about. Take it from someone who's had a chance to play it. There's not a single (noticable) new texture, model, cutscene, or anything. Even the new armor/weapon icons are palette-swaps, at best. All the content is flashbacks to the main campaign. Theonly dialog are a few non-conversation quips from your companions. The loot is mediocre at best, except for a couple items which equal some of the best in the game in ways (and they're likely not the ones you're expecting). NOT worth $5, and not worth wasting your time pacing back and forth, waiting for it. Honestly I truly love Dragon Age and the other DLCs were worth getting. This one is only for very hardcore fans who would pay anything for a bit of new content.

For Xbox360 users either the patch released today or RTO DLC has caused a major issue all of the specialization get locked even if you have unlocked them all, then if you go to buy the books and other stuff to unlock them again, and turn off the game, then turn it back on all the specializations have been relocked with no way to unlock them no, so pretty much you can play but can't specialize in anything.

Damn, I just read on Gamespot that it's been released and went to check on the marketplace and nothing. My guess will be next week.
