Ah yes, the Harrier isn't overused.

#1 PPR clearly outshines Harrier on platinum and is now my choice AR
#2 Harrier is a great weapon...bronze-gold, it is severely lacking ammo for platinum
#3 Lancer is sure to be be used a lot as more and more people have access to it, I just got it lvlX and haven't used it much yet, I will use it a lot this week. so far, I was a little underwhelmed on accuracy and "kick", but it has a TON of ammo and could surpass Harrier usage
#4 Typhoon is the typhoon, a lot of ammo (IMO needs a small damage buff)
#5 Saber is your Sniper-AR hybrid (not my cup of tea)
#6 Spitfire needs a large buff due to fire rate issues (pitiful as is, NOT deserving UR status)
leave the Harrier alone! We now have more AR options than ever and it is NOT even the best AR!

I personally don't really use it since I have the PPR, Lancer, or Saber to choose from.
If you have an issue with it then don't use it.

Drell Adept gets the highest passive weapon damage bonuses in the game, and he is not set up to be a power spammer. He is intended to have a powerful weapon. I have used a Claymore on him before, and it works very well.ROBOTICSUPERMAN wrote...
Harrier needs to be looked at. I've seen people equip it on drell adept, slayer and fury
This should not be vaiable IMO

More of this!
If the rest of the ULTRA RARES were as good, we'd be using them.

Now I don't think the Harrier is OP, but I feel it would be hypocritical for them to not nerf the Harrier at this point when they specifically stated they nerfed Tactical crutch because it was overused. And while tac cloak was and is legitimately overpowered, if the reasoning given for nerfs is accurate, then the standard has to hold true for all cases.
Yes, finally somebody who understands why I want that problem to be looked into. Destroyer and Demolisher were overused and thus nerfed. As the user numbers exploded, Acolyte was reinstated into chargeless-ness.
This is not my logic, gentlemen. This is Bioware's logic. And I am using it to reinforce my argument.

But you have no numbers that say just how much more used it is than the second place weapon.
For all we know, the Harrier could be 0.1% ahead of the Acolyte and Hurricane.
Using the logic you've applied here, we should just always nerf everything, because something will always be the most used thing.

Well when you consider the other ARs it's compared to, of course it's overused. Which is funny, considering no one complains about the PPR despite it being on par, if better than the Harrier.
The PPR's use is a bit more limited due to the ramp up time, which means that you can't be spamming powers.
Harrier is a weapon you can slap on any character and do good with it.
Of course I wouldn't call any other UR Assault Rifle bad except the Spitfire. With the Lancer around we might even see the Harrier's numbers start to drop a bit since that's another really solid caster's AR that is both lighter and has more ammo while still retaining some decent damage to boss mobs.

But these nerfs aren't directed by book of law or something. So they don't have to be consistant.
Plus maybe Harrier is just top gun by precent and fraction of one? Who knows? There always has to be a top gun.

Having completed all of the weapon challenges, I think General, complains a lot because he does not have a Harrier, Moskvin's argument is full of hooey. His gripe makes little sense, yes, the Harrier is a great weapon, and for most people it took a long time to earn, so yeah, those who have it use it and love it. I mean who wouldn't, the Harrier does for assault rifles what the cordless electric drill does for making holes, makes lots of them quickly.
While the harrier is powerful I believe it is well balanced by the need to constantly stand near an ammo box. The Harrier clip runs dry oh so quick, forcing you to abandon teammates in the middle of a heavy fire fight to go get ammo.
Moreover, Moskvin's 'balance' argument makes even less sense when looking at other weapons that are used heavily; the Javelin Sniper Rifle, the most powerful Sniper Rifle in the game and it comes with a free see through walls scope. The Hurricane is the best SMG in game, and the Geth Plasma Shotgun is arguably the best Shotgun in the game. So duh, players will gravitate towards the best kit, just like I don't reach for a rock to drive in a screw, I use my screw driver.
Could there be some improvements to some weapons, of course, for example, the Krysae could use one more round in the clip, the Talon Pistol could weigh a little less, etc. However, over all each weapon has its pluses and minuses and overall are well balanced, it is just some are more equal than others, otherwise why not just have one type of weapon and no others.

I don't have a Harrier? Read the OP again.
All weapons you listed have more than one severe downside, aside from the Hurricane perhaps. The Javelin is heavy as hell, unforgiving, has an extremely slow rate of fire and has not very much spare ammo. The Geth Shotgun is crap off host to say it nice, and also is unable to pierce.
Harrier has low spare ammo which people counter by marrying ammo boxes. Obviously Damage > Fun for lots of people. And that's why I don't like it, it spoils the game and people. Weapons that are more difficult to use than a Harrier/Piranha/Black Widow/Hurricane/Acolyte are dying out. :/

Ok, but it's just your opinion, right?
It's not a cannonical law about how to play the ME3MP, i'm right?
For many of us, Damage is EQUAL TO Fun. If some weapons are dying, the problem is not the Cerberus Harrier. Some weapons are dying, because THESE WEAPONS are underpowered to be used on high levels of difficulty.
After 1 year of ME3MP, many of us are "veterans", with maximized manifests and commonly, we are playing on gold/plat all the time. So, some weapons like Harrier, PPR, Typhoon, Saber and Lancer are commonly used too. Because these are GOOD weapons and we can have FUN!
If you don't like about "how some peoples playing MP with these good weapons" and if this is annoying for you, so, create a friendlist with peoples like you, OR you can accept that Cerberus Harrier is not overused, it's simply used.
