I'd suggest swapping back to the base game files for imports then swapping back to your modded files.
one way to do this is to just copy the whole file structure or backup your modded and clean DLC files and backup the CookedPCConsole folder and swap them around as needed.

So...I'm not sure if this was asked already. How would you/would it be possible to mod out an ally's available powers (i.e. Swapping Ashley's Marksman ability, since it breaks her)?

Something I am also curious about learning how to do (or at least, replace her Marksman with another Combat-based power).


I am also curious about just changing a single SP power for a class in ME3 - let's say that I want to swap Cryo Ammo for Carnage instead on a Soldier, would I still have to got through the methods listed in creating a custom class in order to do this or is there an easier way just to swap one SP power with another the Soldier using the Coalesced editor?

Nice guide. It turned out a lot easier than I imagined.

What are you guys' favorite setups? My current one is:

Base Class: Infiltrator

Disruptor Ammo
Incendiary Ammo
Tactical Cloak
Proximity Mine
Recon Mine
Inferno Grenade
Defense Matrix

"Things explode around you, Shepard."

Recon Mine is really great because you will see Shepard's right arm omnitool light up all the way through cutscenes. Also due to the way SP is designed and played you can set up many devastating ambush attacks with this power.

I would use Hunter Mode (one of my favorite powers from MP) but it produces a glowing red cylinder in front of Shepard's face that obstructs facial expressions in cutscenes.

Also I must admit that Vorcha Shepard (with Bloodlust) is quite funny.

Is it only possible to modify classes? I can't just spin off a totally new one without replacing one?

All I want is a modified Adept (perhaps called the L4r Adept for lore reasons) with the following powers...

Biotic Orbs
Warp
Shockwave
Pull
Barrier
Lift Grenade
Biotic Mastery
Fitness
Biotic Strike (Heavy Melee replacement)
Biotic Dash (Dodge replacement)

But I don't want to replace any of the default classes.

That Coalesced Editor sucks for me and I don't know why. It opens a DOS window for a moment and it closes at the same time. I've spent 2 hours catching it with PrintScreen to know what it says but I couldn't catch that moment.
I've installed .NET latest version so that couldn't be a problem, but what? I'd like to create my own classes in SP...
Sorry, but I'm so upset now...

great thread man, really helped me a lot.. there still are some issues though,, i have all the mp dlc installed but I can't access any from the earth dlc (didn't even bother with dlc after that).. I'd really like to have annihilation sphere and biotic slash but in those KMPowersGive and Remove files you added there aren't those powers.. can you help me, let me know what lines to add.. Cheers

It's too bad... But no, you cannot just make a totally new class. Also, while that entire build would mostly work, the last two (melee and dodge replacements) would not because we are unable to replace shepards dodge or melee with MP melee's

In other news, the coalesced.bin editor on the first post link is a broken link, I'm looking up where to find it but just  aheads up :)

 Hopefully someone still browses this to give me some addtional aid here.

I'm at the step where I'm supposed to delete the three commented (or uncommented, I can't rememmber what "//" is) lines in KM_PresetMANAGER.txt, and it says to give it things like exec KMPowerremove.txt. The issue here is that when the OP refers to this being a reference to the other txt files, mine are not titled like that. None of the ones that are listed on this step have the same name as the other files. 

In the OP, KMPowersRemove, KMPowersGive, and KMPowersReset are all listed. My .txt files seem to be labeled as KMPowersRemoveSelf, KMPowersGiveself, and KMPowersResetSelf. Should I just put those names in the KM_PresetMANAGER instead of what was listed in the OP, or just use what was listed in the OP?

use the files with the 'Self' at the end. OP's screenshots are abit outdated i think

Also the Rapidshare links seem to be down? Is it possible to host them somewhere else (like Dropbox)?

Thanks! However, I've ran into another dilemma. Does anyone have some sort of mirror for the OP's PCC files? I tried his rapidshare link but ran out of the daily limit, which was incredibly small in comparison to the total size, and incredibly slow. I went to go check out the manual step, and holy hell I am not extracting all of those files. I'd love to enjoy the campaign with those extra MP powers, but I really don't feel like extracting all of those myself.

Maybe this has been asked already, but is it possible to skip the F10, F11 and/or F12 pressing and load everything automatically when loading a save? I doubt this is possible, but if there is a way, I'd appreciate knowing how!

Ok guys, original post has been updated with much better file hosting. I'm not using Google Drive for all the old links. I've also updated the coalesced utility link, so everything should be in working order now. Please let me know if you guys run into any other problems.

I Xandra I, I don't know of any way to skip all the different keypresses. You can try combining everything you need into a single keybinding file, but I think that would actually make the process more complicated for you.

It seems the files still can't be downloaded. Is it because it's still uploading on your end? When I try to download the files it just says "The app is currently unreachable". I'll try again in a few hours

EDIT: Nope, still can't download. Everytime I click on the link it just opens an empty page

Maybe upload the files somewhere else? Would be really appreciated as I have no clue how to add powers properly.

I tried "copying" your Nightshade Stalker build and I think I have everything set-up in my Coalesced but I don't really know what to add in the text file - AnnihilationSphere, SonicSlash, Linestrike and venomtippedblades doesn't seem to be right.

EDIT: I figured it out after a lot of trial and error *g

EDIT²: For some reason I just can't seem to get Smash to work, not having problems with any other powers so far. Any ideas?

Question regarding adding DLC powers to the single player game. Assuming I'm starting from scratch, do I follow all the steps for bonus round IV, followed by all the steps for bonus round V exactly as they're listed, or is there some overlap to them that I can (or should) skip?

EDIT:  I followed all the steps in order, and I *think* I got it working properly.

I'm assuming that's not a complete line? should I leave it like it is when inserting it, or change it? Like, should "Adep" be "Adept", with a quotation afterwards, and parenthesis after that? Just for reference I copy/pasted this from the OP. I don't know if my monitor just doesn't display the full page or what, but it's what I see and I just don't want to insert something that makes the coalesced go fubar.
