A few years ago- after completing the original versions of my Extra Invocation packs- I found myself wondering if I could update Warlock Buddy to work with my Extra Invocation feats. Well, while I received permission from ladydesire to update WB as I saw fit (provided I credit both her and the original author), I was never able to do much with WB. Specifically, I could not figure out how to make WB recognize just an Extra Invocation feat version of an invocation. For example, if the only "buff" I had was the Extra Invocation version of Dark One's Own Luck, I couldn't use WB in this case, as the Buffs button in WB would still be disabled. As I wasn't able to get WB to work the way I wanted it to, I've simply left things as they were.

Originally created by Draco Rayne, and updated/recompiled for version 1.23 of NWN2 by ladydesire, I have now uploaded a new version of Warlock Buddy to my Spellpack with Extra Invocations page (link is in my signature). This edition of WB recognizes both the spell AND the Extra Invocation feat versions of invocations. (At least it should. Naturally, you can post on my page at NWVault if you run into any issues.)

Hi, all-

I've made just a quick update for the EI edition of Warlock Buddy. The alternative EI feat requirements in the sethideousblow script in WBEI now use GetFirstPC(0) instead of OBJECT_SELF to identify a warlock able to use WB. According to the previous version of the script, this should allow companions to use WB; however, please note that I haven't yet tested this myself. Regardless, I made the change for the sake of consistency.

Just to let folks know, GL and I are working on a version compatible with my invocation/class pack, This will also include "auto on" for the hellfire abilities and works with both damage and con damage. This has (for the most part) already been tested and working. Just getting the final kinks out of it.

For those that do not recognize the signature, this is Saralach on the vault.

Meanwhile, I've just posted another Warlock Buddy update (for the Obsidian version), though this one is a bit more important. Thanks go to Surango/Saralach for pointing out that in the nw_s0_itwentyfour script, possession of the Otherworldly Whispers spell or feat was firing the routine for Entropic Warding instead. This has been fixed.

I will be posting the Saralach Warlock Buddy within the week. This will include all new auto on options, the WB will recognize any extra invocations you may have like eldritch shield or body augmentation.

It will also include auto on options for the hellfire rewrite. Keep in mind these abilities will also automatically damage you.

By down you mean it's been completely dead for coming up on two years.

 

Fortunately, the community made http://neverwintervault.org/ and has all the files from the old Vault. Warlock Buddy is at http://neverwinterva...r/warlock-buddy
