Ok forgive me but I'm totally lost. Maybe I missed something in the Citadel DLC, but I didn't see any of this Awesome sounding Grunt stuff. Where was it?

I kept wanting my Shepard to pat him on the head plates when he was sitting down. He might take offense to that, though.

you get an email saying they (csec) want you to come to the silversun strip to deal with a krogan (or something like that) and you meet up with a turian who takes you him

After that most of the stuff from the party that has been talked about in this thread come from the loud/louder/dance party.  I know the passed out in the shower is only after the type of party I already mentioned.

Also, I seen a vid on youtube where Shep goes "You're my hero, Grunt" was that just what maleshep says or is there something you got to do specifically to get "I love you, Grunt" ?

Played the DLC twice both with Femsheps but with many different choices made. I got the I love you Grunt line in both so probably a femshep line only. Planning on doing a vanguard playthrough next weekend, its my only manshep save.

i went loud then louder with the party. Never got that email. Actually seems like I'm missing a few things. I'm at the point in the story where Thessia is about to be hit where u first fight Kai Leng. But in the citadel DLC, my personal computer in my apartment has only given me the option to invite up 3 people; EDI, Vega, and Tali. Am I missing something or are more moments triggered later. Grunt is my favorite and I really wanna see these moments

I have no idea what the trigger is. Someone suggested it depended on whether you lied for him or made him apologize, but that's not true. I've seen...

- MaleShep lie for him and say, "I Love You"
- MaleShep make him apologize and say, "You're My Hero"
- FemShep make him apologize and say, "I Love You"
- FemShep lie for him and say, "I Love You"

So I'm not sure what it is. Maybe it's simple; relation to Paragon/Renegade rating. I play Paragon and got 'I Love You'.

You have to fabricate the story in order to get the "I love you, Grunt" dialogue.

I got that dialog with my femshep who made Grunt apologize to the C-Sec officer.

Maybe it has to do with how you resolved the Rachni quest?

It actually made me think of "The Hangover", to be honest.

I have never literally laughed out loud so much at a game as I did during ALL of Grunt's scenes/lines in this DLC.
