I finished all of the Warden's Keep quests, and I got the Warden Commander armor set.  My character already had better armor in the form of Wade's Superior Dragonbone Plate armor set, but I wanted to see how my character looked in the Grey Warden armor, so I equipped it.

Looks good, but since it's only tier 5 (I finished the quests at level 14), I think I'll stick to Wade's Armor.  I re-equip Wade's Armor, but I don't get the fatigue reduction bonus for wearing the set.  There is no green icon to indicate that I am wearing a matching set of armor, nor is there a reduction in my fatigue penalty (I did the math and they add up to the normal amount without the fatigue reduction).

I am running several mods, namely, Combat Tweaks, Winter Forge, Detailed Tooltips, and Character Respecialization.  I have never encountered this problem before with all these mods running until I finished Warden's Keep.  Reloading does nothing.

Strangely, Leliana still gets the set bonus from her Wade's Superior Drakeskin armor set.  It's just my character that lost it.

Any help?

Make sure you are doing all this switching around outside of camp. Being in camp screws with recognition of the item set bonus for some strange reason.

Yeah I can't seem to recreate this error but I'm not running all of those mods.



D what Kepha said, and id that doesn't help I will go out on a limb and say it s some sort of mod interfering with the way they fixed the problem of the Wardens Commander's armour not having bonuses (which is still an issue for 360)

I have five sets of armor between my party members, listed below:



1. Wade's Superior Dragonbone Plate - Equipped by my main character. Set bonus not working.

2. Warden Commander Armor - Set bonus not working.

3. Wade's Drakeskin Armor - Set bonus not working.

4. Wade's Superior Drakeskin Armor - Equipped by Leliana. Set bonus working.

5. Juggernaut Armor - Equipped by Alistair. Set bonus working.



I tried swapping around armor sets between my party members, and I have confirmed that it is the armor sets that aren't working. I am not testing this in camp, but in Warden's Keep, so the set bonus icon not showing up isn't supposed to be an issue.

I have disabled all of the mods I was running and removed the custom TLK file in my override folder. I reloaded to an earlier save, an autosave when entering Avernus's tower for the first time, and Wade's Armor still doesn't have the set bonus. When I equip the Warden Commander armor set, the bonus appears, but if I save and reload (doesn't matter if it's a manual save or a quick save), the bonus disappears.



With or without my mods, the same thing happens. I'm guessing it has something to do with Warden's Keep?

Hrm, that is really odd. i have tried aain and can;t recreate it, sorry. Good luck though, maybe someone else will have an idea.

Ugh... My last non-bugged save is in the Redcliffe basement, which is over six hours of gameplay ago. My Arcane Warrior had heavy chainmail on with the green set bonus icon showing. Saving and reloading results in it still there. Unequipping, saving, reloading, and re-equipping results in the green icon still there.



I think I know when my save may have been corrupted. There was a power outage two days ago which happened while I was playing. At some point within the last two days, I talked to Levi Dryden at the camp and I got the option to download Warden's Keep, which is odd since I already have it. I agree to download it, save the game, and reload. I believe this is where the bug started, but the last save I have before this occurred is the Redcliffe basement one.



Another thing... Before the power outage, I remember accepting Levi's quest for Warden's Keep, but he re-offered the quest when I clicked on the download Warden's Keep option.



I hope this information helps fix this, or I will have lost over six hours of gameplay.

I'm experiencing the same problem just today. Even went so far as to reinstall the game but I still can't seem to identify the problem. Figured it could probably be from some mod I installed within the past 24 hours....

This is a problem I've been having too, I have all patches, I'm playing vanilla, but at some point I lost all my armor set bonuses. Removing all armor and re-equipping it doesn't help, in camp or not.

I have finished Wardens Keep some time ago and just acquired all pieces of juggernaut armor.. But I don't have the set bonus.. From the start on nothing appeared. Kinda freaks me out.. I could reapply the setbonus via The Winter Forge, but when I import to awakening the Bonus added by the forge isn't working anymore and instead I don't have no setbonus anymore... That sucks.. I hate bugs.. Especially bugs like this.

Sometimes I find that changing an accessory item (necklace/ring) will cause the bonus icon to re-appear. I believe the bonus is still being applied just the icon doesn't show up now and then - I mostly notice this on my followers (Alistair has the entire Cailan armor set and has no icon, Oghren has the Blood Dragon Armor w/ no icon).

Now I experience the same problem like Joseph Silver.. When I have my armor equipped, save and reload any setbonus is gone and won't appear again. If I unequp my armor before I save then I have the setbonus again after I loaded the game and equpped my armor. I don't know what's wrong. Leliana with "Lelianas Item Set" and Morrigan with the Wings of the Velvet mod don't have any issues..



I have never ever experienced any bug like that before patch 1.03 // installing Awakening. The only mods I installed lately were The Pearl Redone (I know ), natural bodies 2.7 (since I am using this from the start on.. Never had a problem with that), Velannas Face from Dragon Age Redesigned and Grey Warden Runic Weapon.



And what's most odd and what I already explained: The Juggernaut Armor never ever even had a setbonus, when I collected it today... It's freaking me out.. Not one of my setbonuses is working anymore for my mainchar respectively the juggernaut armor isn't working for anybody...

I fear most problems derive from savegames being pre patch 1.03. I encountered funny stuff with "older" savegames... Losing setbonuses like Joseph for example.. I tried a new game and had no issues with that.. And when I imported from an old savegame for Awakening I even lost the setbonus of the very first armor (that silver plate), after I saved and loaded.. A newly begun Orlais warden did not have this issue.

I got this sometimes too. I found that usually if i take off the helm/hat and then put it back on it fixed it.

This is an extremely annoying bug - everytime I change map locations I have to go through my party and remove and replace one piece of armor to re-activate the set bonus. Hopefully, as someone said above, this will be fixed if I start a totally new character post 1.03, but right now I'm working through Awakenings with my old character and still dealing with this problem.
