Well yes. He was kind of a dick too... he lacked pragmatism and imagination. Which I attribute to Brooks' influence. She wanted a Shepard to act as her obedient pet and she got one. When the Clone outlived its usefullness, she abandoned it.

I might have felt bad, but the clone was a colossal ******. He made that choice on his own. Could have decided to be useful to the galaxy. Chose to be a douche.

This, pretty much. The clone was immoral. Before he locked my Shep away, I chose to offer an alliance, which was denied. He chose his fate, whether Brooks was manipulating him or not.

You know I play mostly renegade... Shepard extended her hand... the clone let go. If we'd rescued her? Well she'd have to get inked and implanted with a marker that identifies her. Set her up with a new identity.

Brooks? I turned her over to the Alliance.

And I play renegade.... Throw me out the airlock.

Yeah, I felt bad. He's like that one kid who never got the attention his older brother/sister got from his parents.

When suddenly, I realized that CloneShep is the fanatical version of.......

...Carver.

CloneShep is better than Carver because instead of standing around and whining like a ****, CloneShep went out and did something about it, even though he failed terribly at it.

I did feel kind of bad for the clone. I still thought it was evil, but I knew it couldn't be easy. Born as a clone with no purpose in life, never meant to have life. There was no place for him in the world. It must have been horrible knowing he couldn't ever have a life.

actually others shouldn't attempt to aspire to/for others(even an evil clwonshep) what they might assess as 'having a life'. Someone designed him/her to be suicidal?  Good Shep gets to offer a hand up..but..ulp?

It was a very difficult decision, but even though he was Brooks' pawn "there can be only one" besides he said he'd have let Kaidan die on Virmire so...

Female Clone doesn't say the same thing about Ashley.

I let Brooks live though, killing her would've been too merciful.

Sooo... You killed him just because he said he would've saved Ash on Vimire? I wonder what you would do to the person that actually saved her. Sorry, just kidding on this one. But your statement sounded little.. silly.

Anyway, about CShep.
I wanted to kill him at first, but when I saw his sad eyes after Brooks left him.. I just couldn't kill him in cold blood. I tried to save him cuz I felt sorry for him.

This may sound a little cold but I thought about throwing him in a stasis pod and using him for spare parts after I pick destroy and see pretty red space magic. It never hurts to be prepared...

I wanted to do that but throw the clone in with the Synthesis option.

Let me elaborate, when I played the DLC with my Renegade Shep it was freezer all the way.  My Paragon Shep felt bad for him and would have tried to save the clone.

Yeah, actually. I did. It reminded me of how I feel about Frankenstein's monster. He was just young and didn't have experience in the world. He went bad before he had a mentor to show him there was a better way to use his power and gave up before taking a chance for the alternative.

Yeah, Cloneshep is just a baby with a bad role model. If he lived he coulda learned to be good.

I felt bad for the guy. Wanted to save him. He was a six month old moron. Didn't deserve to die for it.

Shot that **** Brooks though. She should've known better.

As i said in a different thread, Given the opportunity I would have pissed on him before kicking him off the ship. Also, I would have shot Brooks if I could before she tried to escape instead of after escaping.

I felt bad for her, yeah. Brooks awakened her and manipulated her only to advance her own interests. She was just a tool and not even a unique tool but a "cheap" knockoff of the real thing. I doubt that CloneShep ever felt happy in her life.

Would have been interesting to have the clone as a recruitable Squadmate. A very skilled and lethal soldier, but brutally naive about the world and how Shepard works. I guess turning them into the 'Token Evil teammate'. Would have provided some interesting dialogue to say the least, but it probably would require a hell of a patches for existing scenes to include him.

I found the clone to be one of the most tragic characters in ME, and it was all because of Brooks. Whom I shot with no hesitation.

Same. The only time I pulled the renegade trigger faster was with Kai-Leng.
