Clone Shepard said he would of left Kaidan on virmire and Kill Tali by coughing on her....
No i don't feel bad at all... Stomping on his hands to make him fall felt like the best murdering scene ever.... (anyone sense the sarcasm)

oh and brooks. Liked her. then didn't, I let her live on my Paragon PT and then gladly shot her in the back like she did me (not literally like i did... heh heh heh) on my Renegade PT

But clone shep couldn't have killed Tali by coughing on her she's adapted to LI shep :D so clone shep would have to try harder.

You know I played alot of games in the last few years and the clone is the only villian I actually would not have mind if he won in the end. The clone did alot of things well and even a few things I wished Shepherd did like turning off that damn gate along the way to the CIC.

The clone all things considered was a pretty well done villian at least in comparison to the other villians in the game so yeah I did feel bad when the clone died...now Brooks on the other hand.

I felt terrible for the clone. Brooks pretty much represented the worst of humanity - an absolute sociopath. For someone like that to have your ear all the time? That's going to really screw a person up, because a sociopath can't truly care, all they can do is manipulate. And Brooks was a grade A sociopath.

The clone Shepard, to me, seemed to have a very childlike persona. Much of the strength and power of the actual Shepard, but the emotional and intellectual maturity of a preteen. It was largely Brooks driving that car, and if not for her at the steering wheel, the clone might have actually turned out okay. But Brooks filled the clone up with so much hatred, so much anger, and so much bitterness that all it could do was think of lashing out.

That part of the story was very tragic, really. So, yes, I felt bad for the clone.

Agreed.

The Clone should have been sent to Grissom Academy, like David. She's as much a victim as David.

Me.
My first thought was, clone!Shep had the same memories of Shepard from the time of ME1, but no later stuff. That's why I thought that poor guy was going back and looking at his friends and, obviously, his LI (Ashley in my case). Since she was part of my squad in that scene, that idea felt legit.

Well, I reviewed that situation later and watched a vid on youtube as well: clone!Shep doesn't have memories at all of Shepard. Which makes my idea obsolete. Still - that poor guy. I still feel bad for him.

would of been cool if he/she did heve memorys as a side effect would of given you something to thing about and yes I did feel sorry for the clone.

I'm sure they tried to pull the Imhotep card (The Mummy Returns, Ankhesenamun abandons him just as he's about to fall into the pit of souls whereas Evelyn runs back to save O'Connell, and Imhotep with the sad puppy eyes lets go and falls).

yeah no I didn't feel sorry for him. funny how he decides to feel sad AFTER all the people he's killed and after trying to kill me and all my squaddies. BIIIIG mistake.

and although I get what Auld Wulf is saying, the problem is that with the strength of the adult Shepard but with a little boy's mental level, he's far too dangerous to let live. especially since there are bigger problems to worry about like....you know, giant mechanical cockroaches that wanna suck you off.

erm you know what I mean, don't take everything so literally all the time.

it's funny how they've done this whole scenario on tv as well. many many years ago on Flash, and Hercules. both with the abilities of the adult versions but with the mental capacity of a 10 year old. they both had to go.

Brooks on the other hand, she asked for that bullet in the back.

Nope, she threatened my crew, the normandy, and the survival of the galaxy with her idiotic plan. So no, I felt no remorse kicking her stupid ass off my ship, Brooks deserves nothing more than a bullet in the back.

Only the in last second. I had little empathy for him until you see in defeat in his eye when Brooks left him like that.

Couldn't that be fixed with more/better neural implants?

Couldn't RealShep implant some of his/her personality into CloneShep, to make the latter a more mature/stable/nice person who could be a very useful ally?

A big question though is how much of Shepard's strength comes from her genes, and how much from experience. Without all the combat experience and knowledge RealShep got, CloneShep is much less powerful IMO. My RealShep killed CloneShep (on Insanity) even without letting the entire dialogue play out (never heard the "tired old woman" line) because she's wallhacking with a Javelin X. CloneShep never had a chance because her xenophobia won't let her make use of Geth technology.

Didn't care.

Like I said after the DLC came out:  It was a near-complete rip-off.

The original was better.

Did you guys forget Real Sheperd survived a fall from space and entering planet's atmosphere and crashing into the ocean?

Clone Shep clowned you guys. That dude didn't die. And if you kill Brooks, you tie up a loose end for him.

What do you guys think happens when you pick Destroy? After that breath scene, Clone Shep comes along thanks you for doing all the dirty work, chokes your a** to death and then re-unites with your crew claims to have lost some of his memories and proceeds to f**k the brains out of your LI interest, have babies and live happily ever after.

I felt bad for the clone because the real Shepard is defined by his/her friends, and the clone could never have that; I guess that is why he decided to kill himself (I play Sheploo) and it really reminded me about my own life and recognizing what I have to live for. I thought it was sad that my shep wanted to save him after all the trouble, but I would do the same thing. His death really reminded me of the control ending and seeing our hero die. Maybe the clone might be alive and they could use him/her in ME4 as an antagonist/squaddy.

My life would be pretty empty if I didn't have my friends. Mass Effect reminded me about the power of friendship/comoraderie.

You deserve all of that for picking Destroy, the choice of ham-fisted barbarians.

Yeah, I kind of did. It could have been done better, however I can forgive that because the DLC was designed to be kind of goofy anyway.

Can we not turn this into an ending debate, ignoring the fact that the citadel doesnt fall to earth?

It was a joke.  Although who says Clone Shep didn't follow Shep into the light?  Shep basically spent the final part of the game clearing a parh for him.
