I "rage quit" because...

* The power went out
* My router (or internet service further up the pipe) crapped out
* EA's Servers crapped out
* I lost track of time and have to RUN to work (RL > Game)
* I lost track of time and {insert different RL>Game scenario here}

On topic, I don't in game rage quit, but I sure do quit playing after the match if something cheap happens.  For instance, getting grabbed because of that fantastic Omni button.  Let me run away from you Ms. Banshee, oh hey Mr. Cover, you want my attention for a split second.  I hate sticking to damn cover when trying to run away.

Extreme lag, invisible enemies or anything else that make the game unplayable cause me to leave, but I've never once rage-quited and I don't think I ever will.

When the Vanguards and Krogan consistently keep dieing multiple times per wave, never using medigel, and I keep dieing in the process of trying to rez them. At that point I know where the match is headed.

I guess you could call it a rage quit. I like to think of it as reality check / time saver quit.

This ^, although it's usually 50/50 on my part. If I see any basic weapon appearing in the feed in a gold match for example (Avenger/Predator) then i'm not going to hang around. It's especially annoying on console, seeing as it takes over a minute to get into a game in the first place.

I never ragequit unless:

-Invisible Teammates or Enemies
- Missile Glitchers

Most of the time I "quit" is because the EA hamster fell out of it's wheel again.

Stupid disconnects.

The only reasons I ever quit are if it's really laggy or if I'm not doing good. I'd rather give the team a better player when I have a bad day.

Really bad lag or any bug that makes the match unplayable, missile glitchers or 'waiting for other players' bug are the only reasons i've quit out of the game. Stupid or not, i'll stick with a match to the bitter end.

Yah yeah, I can do it, but i don't feel like it atm. If I wanted to play plat I'd put on a plat setup.

Also lag. Sometimes.

I don't rage quit but my internet connection craps out everyonce in a while and i have to wait for it to comeback.

I don't rage quit, I'll suck it up and attempt to keep going if I'm with a bad group.

Now, quitting because of lag, isn't rage quitting to me. If the game is unplayable because of lag, it's best to leave and try again. I have left games I because of lag. Or lose of internet connection. Damn Comcast!
