Until ME4 is released assuming the game is still 'alive' by then however I don't plan on buying next gen console until around 12months after release so hope they take their time.
When do you think you'll "retire" from ME3 MP?

There's been a couple of times I've had extended breaks away from the game, mainly due to other games being released that I was really looking forward to. At the moment I'm really enjoying revisiting some characters and weapons I've not played with for a while, plus trying out some unusual builds. Strangely enough I've actually been having fun playing Platinum for the first time ever too. I'll keep playing as long as there are new things for me to do.
But I think the real answer is that I'll 'retire' when my friends do. I like playing games with friends and I have a lot of awesome pals that still play ME3 MP.

already retired once before, beginning to lose interest again. i really hope more thought & creativity goes into me4. great gameplay mechanics only get you so far. most the time i wish the team would just wipe after wave 10 money because there is no reason to bother "extracting" (we dont even get a cool cutscene of leaving in the shuttle or anything. this game is mad cheap)

Probably not as long as I'd like, games will take a back seat for several months soon. By the time I start playing again I'd imagine new things will be on the horizon.

I'll probably retire once I get a maximim manifest, which at this point probably won't happen anytime between now and the launch of "ME4" (for lack of a better title).
I also like getting the challenge banners. I do this thing where I hold out hope that somehow my N7 and/or banners will somehow transfer over to the next title in the form of a reward or some prestigious icon, although I doubt that ever comes to fruition. It would be a very pleasant surprise for us vets, though!
